Great product, works awesome
This water pic is great, it has different power settings and it come with 2 types of tips (one tip type has a double for a total of 3 tips). I only use the water jet and not the gum line tip. If you have regular teeth and don't need anything special then one tip is all you need. Give it a week and you will get the hang of using it bc the 1st week I made a big mess with the water jet, It can be tricky to control and not get all the counter and mirror wet, but once you get the hang of it, the device is very handy and works great, better than the phillips sonic care airfloss (in my opinion) bc I like the continuos jet of water that you can feel cleaning. I use it every day at night before brushing my teeth, all the food particles fall right out. If you have dental pockets or hard to reach places this will clean and make your breath fresher. The 1st week can be tough and your gums will most likely bleed especially if you do not floss on the regular. Just start at the lowest setting and work your way up to a setting that is comfortable. The kit comes with 2 cups one for water and the other if you need to measure out medicine or any other type of liquid that requires dilution. I use mouthwash in the smaller cup and peroxide with water once a week in the large cup. The only issue that I don't like is that it can be a little loud where using it.

Better than the Original!
I bought this model to replace an original 20+ year old model that finally bit the dust. This new model works well and the water pulsing is actually more powerful than the original. Of course the water pulse strength is adjustable, and the lowest setting is perfect for me, but I'd recommend starting out on the lowest setting. Of course your mileage might vary. This model comes with 2 standard jet tips so if your family usage is more than 2 people you may want to order extra. This new model is actually a little quieter than the original model but if you've never used one before it might seem loud. The choice of using a smaller water reservoir is also nice. Those that have complained that "water gets everywhere" just haven't learned how to use the water pik correctly. It's a high pressure water spray and if you take it out of your mouth while the water is flowing water will "get everywhere"! And to help that, this new model has a button in the handle to temporarily stop the water flow if desired. I'm very pleased with this product and it does a great job of cleaning every hard to reach place including between my crowns and under my 2 bridges. Time will tell on its durability, but so far so good.

Works very well...
I am a late-comer to water flossing after being urged in this direction by my dentist for years. Finally purchased this after lots of research. It is amazing. Cleans teeth almost as well as a hygienist. Downside is that it is VERY noisy, but this is sort of to be expected because the water pump generates so much pressure - which means it works exceptionally well. Be careful using it initially and make sure the pressure is set the the lowest setting. At higher settings, the water jet is capable of actually cutting my tongue and other soft tissue. This is not a hypothetical statement ! Overall, it does take some practice to get used to using it effectively without injuring one's self and/or splashing water all over the bathroom; but it is absolutely worth it...

Great product!
I don't understand all the negative reviews of leakage, strength being temperamental, and noise level. After using machine for 3 months, I haven't experienced any of these negativities that others have written about. I use my waterpik 2 times daily every day and haven't experienced anything close to what others have complained of. IMHO, the Waterpik was the best investment in getting my oral health back on track in terms of really helping out my gum health. Since starting to use it 2x daily every day I have seen a real difference in the color of my gums turning from red and inflamed to more of a pink and healthy color, the bleeding has totally stopped, and gum sensitivity has steadily been decreasing. Even when I use regular string floss, I have noticed that there is less of a chance of bleeding, whereas before I would without a doubt always have bleeding that happened when flossing. After using this for the past 3 months, I have become almost addicted to the dentist-like clean feeling after each waterpik/brush session. After using both the waterpik and an electric toothbrush, I can walk away feeling almost as though I have just had a dental cleaning; it feels that much more clean than just brushing alone! It took me only a few times to start working up as to which power setting I wanted to use. After about 3 weeks I found myself using 4th power setting on a regular basis with no discomfort. I am starting to use 5th power setting on a more regular basis now, but not steadily. Hope to get to 5th power setting regularly in another week or 2. Machine is quieter than an older model I owned about 7 or 8 years ago, so they have made an improvement on quietness. I live in an older apartment complex where walls are thin and I haven't had any complaints from neighbors about me using the machine, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it being too loud for a small apartment bathroom such as mine that butts up next to your neighbors. Will give update after using it several more months to let you know if real problems start to appear. Overall, very happy with the machine and it's build quality overall! Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their oral health!

Doesn't work for long...DO NOT BUY
Purchased 11/23/2024. Stopped working March 2025. My other old waterpik lasted years and years! Ugh! It either will not turn on OR if it does, no water comes out even though hose vibrates and makes sound. Amended 4/4/2025, just do not buy a "Waterpik"...this was $79.73 with tax. I went with Waterpik because my other one lasted years. I emailed Waterpik, they have responded...with questions: Answers are mine. How often do you use this unit per week or per day? Twice a day minimum. Does the pause button on the handle feel stuck at all, or does it click in and out properly? I have not noticed this to be honest. I now wonder. Have you ever cleaned the unit? If so, what was used to clean it and how often is it cleaned? Cleaned weekly, wash with warm water and dish detergent. Do you use any additives in the reservoir besides water? If so, what do you use? No, water only. Have you tried a new, unused tip in the handle since this issue occurred? Yes, used every tip I have from old waterpik to what came with this new one. Please provide a receipt or order invoice for your original purchase. Screen shot. Amazon. I do not remember it being this price. if that's the case, now, I'm really upset. Attached actual downloaded Amazon receipt. That is actually what I paid. UGH! Now, new instructions on what they need:Typically if the water flow is intermittent to this degree, it may be the pause button on the handle. I would like to try some troubleshooting to see if we can return functionality to your pause button: Remove the tip from the top of the handle. Fill up a cup or glass with a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and warm water. Place the handle in the solution and allow it to soak for 15-30 minutes. Rinse the handle under warm water and attempt to use the unit as normal. Press in the pause button a few times to see if this affects the water flow. C'mon, replace my $80.00 Waterpik.

Good, but wish I had spent a little extra on one of the more expensive models.
PROS: *Nicely gets food out from between your teeth *My teeth are close together, so this lets me clean without having to worry about floss fitting/shredding between my teeth *Tip easily twists so you can adjust during cleaning to get the right angles *My dental hygienist said my gums and teeth looked even better than before after using this for a few months. *Variable pressure levels (though this could be better) *Big reservoir holds more than enough water (I usually only need to fill it to the 2nd or 3rd line) *Comes with a specialty reservoir so you can add mouthwash for a better clean (my dental hygienist recommends this) *Comes with extra tips (easy to replace tips, and they stay in place until you want to remove them) *Available in frustration free packaging CONS: *Very loud *No lid for the water reservoir, so if you want to keep it sanitary you have to dump the water and flip it upside down (like a cover) after every use. To fully cover everything, like they show in the one image, you would also have to remove the tip from your wand. I leave the tip on my wand and simply balance the reservoir over it. *I wish there was a little more control over the speed. There are several settings, but it goes from no pressure to painful pressure within the first 3 settings. *It's awkward to use at first. The first few times I used this, I ended up squirting water all over myself and my bathroom. You also have water running out of your mouth and trying to angle it so the water goes between your teeth on the inside is a bit tricky. It's not a big deal once you get the hang of it, but the first few times you use this, you may want to wear a raincoat and cover anything in your bathroom you don't want to get wet. *I wish the button on the handle turned the water on instead of off. It is awkward to press and hold when you want the water off. It's especially awkward trying to hold that and reach for the power switch to turn the machine off. (I suggest putting the machine on the side of your sink opposite your dominant hand.) *Made in China NOTE: Overall, this is a good machine, but I really wish I had just spent more money on one of the more expensive models. Most of these cons would not be issues with the more expensive models, so my recommendation is to bite the bullet and get a good one right from the start.

High water volume water flosser. Going strong at 2 years.
I really like my Waterpik. I've had it about two years and it is still going strong. A water flosser shouldn't replace traditional flossing but it does give you a deep down clean feeling that I had only experienced at the dentist prior to water flossing. It has a couple nice features that I would like to point out. The Waterpik Professional Water flosser comes assembled in the box with three nozzles. There is space to store four nozzles in the front of the base. The reservoir can hold 1000 mL of water and doubles as a dust cover by turning it over. The cord on the handle is generous. The handle attaches to the base by sliding into a molded hole in the base. There is a knob that switch on the left side of the base that turns the pump on and off (binary). There is a six setting slide switch on the handle that controls the volume of water flow from low to high. The tubing that attaches to the handle has memory in it and quickly and neatly coils up and stores inside the base when not in use which makes it a welcome aesthetic addition to my bathroom counter. There is no built in timer which pauses or stops the waterflow. 1000 mL of water is pumped out over two minutes so you don't have to refill it during a flossing session. The water pressure at this speed is very high (you can squirt someone 20 feet away if you want to). I cannot use the highest two speeds comfortably. The Waterpik water flosser is easy to use. First I fill the reservoir which detaches from the base so you can fill it under the faucet, put the nozzle in my mouth, turn on the pump with the switch on the base, and set the speed with the switch on the handle. I let the water flow out of my mouth into the sink. One you get used to it, there is no water spray or mess when using it. Summary: The Waterpik has a water flow rate of 500 mL per minute at its highest setting. The Waterpik comes with three nozzles. Replacement Waterpik nozzles are readily purchasable. The Waterpik's reservoir holds 1000 mL. The Waterpik has six articulated settings that you set on the handle. Reservoir doubles as a dust cover.
