I'm curious if i can tow my boat behind my 20 ft. travel trailer, the boat has approx. 100 lb. tongue weight, if i use the Hitch and Safety Struts.

Probably illegal with a travel trailer. It is legal in some states like Michigan if you are towing a fifth wheel, however you will need a doubles endorsement on your license. If you have a CDL with a doubles/triples endorsement then all you need is a fifth wheel camper then your boat. I would not attach it to the bumper rather buy a hitch that will mount to the frame rails on the trailer. Make sure that it is rated for the weight you want to tow. There was a guy on a Nissan Titan truck Facebook page that says what you want to do is legal in his state. Be safe.

Do I need to buy long bolts? Ours don't look like they're self-tapping. Also, they look short. Will they fit our tube frame?

Hi Deb, UPDATE: The self-tapping bolts we supply actually look like regular bolts though if you look at the tip end-on, you'll see that it looks more like a rounded triangle than a circle. If you search on "Trilobular" in Amazon, you'll see the type of self-tapping bolts we supply. As for using long bolts, we highly discourage their use as you are actually squeezing your frame sides toward each other as you tighten the long bolts. By using the self-tapping bolts we provide, you get a much better mounting of the SafetyStruts as you are tightening it against the frame side (instead of squeezing the frame sides together when using long bolts).I hope this helps! Will this fit with my 3 in. support tube to my 4 in. bumper?

Yes. If you look closely at the brackets, you'll see 4 large mounting holes. Only three of these get used for mounting; you will use the two middle holes and either the hole above or the hole below depending on whether your 3 inch frame is flush with the top or the bottom of your 4 inch bumper.

Whats the difference between the universal and standard kits?

The universal kit (SNU) includes standoff spacers for use if you have an I-beam frame that's shorter than 6 inches tall.
