Fearless Tarot: How to Give a Positive Reading in Any Situation

Are You Ready to Fearlessly Take a Deep Dive into the Tarot? Don't Be Afraid To Get Your Feet Wet!
Fearless Tarot by Elliot Adam is not just another standard book on the Tarot. This should be one of your standard guides on Tarot! Tarot enthusiasts, whether at beginning, middle, or master level, will get a lot of substantive information from this great resource.Do you break out into a cold sweat when reading for yourself or others when you pull some of the more challenging cards in the Tarot (such as Tower, 10 of Swords, 5 of Pentacles, etc.)? The author doesn’t just sugar-coat the card meanings. Adam tells it like it is without all the drama providing great advice on how to help yourself (or clients) move forward through these difficult periods constructively and without fear. This is no small resource. Whatever your style on reading the cards, you will appreciate the depth Adam explores each card individually (some he spends a little more space on than others), but none of the cards are neglected. And, he pretty much gets right down to it. Note that the interpretations are based on Rider-Waite symbology but can be universally applied. His observations are easy for any level of practitioner to grasp, but don’t mistake that with surface observations. Adam has surprised me with some card insights I have either ignored or just not fully thought about. That’s the beauty of reading insights from more than 1 Tarot author. It fills in gaps and broadens your knowledge of the cards. And I like the way he often makes connections between preceding and succeeding cards. For one example, Adam’s observation of the Temperance card, falling in between some of the most difficult cards of the Major Arcana (the Hanged Man, Death, the Devil and the Tower). He describes it as an “oasis in this leg of the journey… “…a place of self-care and restoration before getting back into the ring”. Those of us with short attention spans (like this sorry Aries!) or, if you just need a quick interpretation to get that intuition flowing, he includes “A Quick Tarot Reading Reference Guide” of interpretations for each card, upright and reversed, at the end of the book. These brief interpretations really do capture the main points he was trying to get across. There are spreads provided including 2 modified versions of the Celtic Cross, one of which is not for the faint of heart (an extended version with 3 cards each in 9 positions)! I can’t wait to give this one a try! There are two other spreads of note: “Transcend Your Fears” (a 5-card + significator spread), and “Bring Shadows to Light” spread (a 7-card + significator spread). There are helpful tips on using the spreads, reading for others and more. All in all, you can’t go wrong adding this book to your must-read/collect list. For me, Fearless Tarot would get dog-eared over time (if I had not bought the e-book version, LOL!) as I think it’s the kind of Tarot resource I will always be referring back to.

So Much Goodness
I have used Elliott’s website religiously to help me understand the messages behind cards that I pull and their deeper meanings ever since I started my journey with tarot a few years back! I always resonate with his messages and truly appreciate his positive interpretations!I even got my mom on board with me a few months ago! We live across the country from one another but we meditate together every night and pull a card/talk about it after! She has truly been enjoying the journey and Elliot’s interpretations as well!I was so thrilled when I finally realized that he had a BOOK out now and had no hesitation purchasing immediately! There’s just “something” about the physicality of a book and this one is even more special because it’s filled with SO much goodness! If you end up seeing this, Elliot, thank you for all of your hard work! Your love and light are truly inspirational and I hope that you know that your innate gifts bless the world!Sending all of the abundance and happiness that the Universe can offer your way!💖 Allie in San Diego, CA

Inner peace and understanding
I’m busy and I hardly ever write reviews but I had to leave this a review because of the deep peace that this book has already given me. As someone who suffers from anxiety I know from experience that sometimes we cope with anxiety by consulting the cards. I got this book in the hopes that the messages and perspectives the author shared would put me at ease and I was right. He focuses on “the heart of the matter” and really focuses on the lesson of the card rather than the doom and gloom fatalistic approach other books can have and it gives me a feeling of calm knowing that no matter what comes my way there’s a deeper understanding and gives the tool of understanding to deal with it. Thank you Elliot!

Look no further,, this book will enlighten your Tarot path.
Absolutely a great book on understanding n traveling back to the origin of each card. The explanations allow you , to dive into ,the essence of the character depicted. Each explanation is a POSITIVE spin on otherwise scary cards. I waited 2 years for Dr. Elliot to put his grand knowledge on paper. I am over the moon. So, when is the next book coming out? Congratulations Llewelyn you got a master within your pages. 🙂

It’s going to be my Tarot Bible.
I first found Elliot Adam through Googling different card meanings as I was learning, I didn’t realize he had a whole book out until I checked his YouTube videos and he mentioned it on there. I didn’t think twice, went straight to purchasing and while USPS kind of lost my package at one point, the wait for it to finally get to me was SO worth it.I’ve only began reading through the first few pages and now going through the major arcanas, and I’m blown away with how enjoyable of a read it is, and how each card is broken down into small bits of easy to absorb information while still giving you its essence in its entirety. I like that as I get to know the cards, I end each one having a good grasp of what the card stands for and I’m not left confused about what the card /could/ mean, I just already /know/ after reading Elliot’s writing. There’s no more second-guessing or confusion. I hope that makes sense. The card reversals are great too because Elliot writes them in a way that can actually help you rather than scare you — which is what Tarot is for some/most of us, right? A tool for self-reflection, a tool to guide us towards the right paths, etc. There’s a section on how to use the cards along with some spreads, and the appendix at the end is amazing to have as well for those quick reference guides. I’d also like to note that the pages are nice in the sense where anything I highlight doesn’t show up on the opposite page. Overall the quality of the book from content to production is great!!!Huge thanks for Elliot for sharing his knowledge and wisdom with us and helping us read tarot fearlessly ;)

A fearless approach for experienced readers and newbies alike
I’ve been reading tarot on and off for over a decade, and as a result, I have predictably accumulated several books on the subject - every book promising in turn a better understanding of the card, a unique approach, the best ever spreads, and so on. The truth is, tarot reading is a never-ending learning process and you could buy every single book on the market and still learn something new from each one. However, these days, and certainly compared to when I first got into tarot, hardly a week goes by without a new tarot book being launched and “Fearless Tarot” - by debut author Elliot Adam, a.k.a. Elliot Oracle of Instagram fame, is one of the most recent offerings on the market. So what’s different? The clue is in the title. As Elliot’s followers will already know, the author’s approach to interpreting the cards is very different from a lot of other readers: there are no negative or scary cards, there is no need to despair if you pull the 10 of Swords. Instead of focussing on doom and gloom, Elliot’s interpretations of the cards, even the scariest ones like Death and The Devil, can be, as Theresa Reed writes in the foreword, “positive and uplifting”. If you follow his weekly Animal Oracle readings on Instagram, you will be familiar with that style. If you have gone a step further and had a private reading with the man himself, you will also know that all of the above doesn’t mean he sugarcoats the truth. In other words, fearless, yes, but that doesn’t mean a fluffy, spiritual bypassing style, either. The largest section of “Fearless Tarot” covers card meanings and a lot of this content will already be familiar to those of you who have long been googling “5 of Swords Elliot Oracle” to bring up the author’s excellent blog posts. Finally all of Elliot’s card definitions are all in one handy place, complete with an illustration (black and white in the Kindle copy) of each card from the RWS deck, and the corresponding reversal interpretation. A section on how to read the cards gives you an insight on Elliot’s unique reading style and his signature modified Celtic Cross spread is also included.I don’t think I will ever stop buying Tarot books but “Fearless Tarot'' has entered my own personal Olympus of titles on The Tarot: a library of a handful of books I keep permanently stored on my Kindle app to consult whenever I need them. This book will offer a new perspective to experienced readers and still be a great introduction to the cards for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the wonderful world of Tarot for the first time.

Empowering approach to tarot
As a follower of Elliot on Instagram, I enjoy his upbeat, positive style of interpretation. This book is like having him in your living room (or wherever you happen to be reading it!). Personally, I dip into the book as needed - but it's also very useful for a beginner. The descriptions for each card are detailed, well-rounded, offer different perspectives and most importantly, are presented in a way that seeks to empower. You're not going to find extensive details on symbolism, astrology and the like, but that does mean that you can use it alongside most standard Tarot decks.

Best book ever!
This book is ine of the very very best I have read. You don't have to start memorizing the meaning because the description of the cards is more like a story of the card. You remember it because the way it was written. Makes sense and just opened up to new feelings towards the cards. I always liked the Tower, but after reading this book, I don't mind it drawn. Fearlessly I take it as they come to me. Brilliant work, highly recommend it to anyone who wants to step into the cards' world.

The fantastic, fearless tarot
Love, Love Love this book! I baught it in December on kindle because the print was out of stock. Elliot not only refrains the cards, he also has a deep understanding of the symbolism and themes of each card. I love it soo much I am going to get it in print. This book belongs on my shelf alongside Rachel pollock and Mary K Greer as one of my indispensable tarot must haves.
