Found my dad's old Atari and couldn't find the power supply. This power supply was exactly what I needed.

I purchased this cord for an old Atari game system, matched and works as it should.

Bought this as a replacement for an original Atari 2600 power supply that gave up the ghost after 46 years. While it did work, there are two things worth knowing about it in advance:1) This power supply consists of two parts: the PSU itself, and an adapter to change the barrel jack that its output terminates to into the male ST plug the 2600 needs. This isn't an actual problem, but wasn't totally clear from the description.2) It is not a noise-free PSU. On the three 2600s (a Junior and two Heavy Sixers) that I have, it introduces significant noise that scrolls up the screen into the RF output. This does not happen using a standard Atari PSU, but absolutely does happen with this one. FWIW, all three machines are recapped.I can't say that this is a bad product or that it doesn't work, because it does - at least, it powers all of my 2600s to the point where they can run. But what I can say is that your mileage may vary as to how well it works depending on the system that you're using it with. In my case, it makes the systems nearly unusable.
