Best psyllium husk currently available for the price and quality
I've been buying psyllium husks (aka ispaghula aka isabgol aka plantago ovata) fibre for 15+ years from various manufacturers/sources and the reliability of supply and quality and price of this Nature's Diet product I've been able to order with regularity in the last year or two is brilliant, and its one of the best out there. Packaging is solid if almost a bit too thick for ecological footprint (if only it was in a wax lined paper based bag I'd be even happier!) but means lower risk of tearing in transit, I guess. I decant some into a tub to scoop and serve, the rest you can just roll up the top and keep relatively air tight but unlike some more powdered products, it doesn't draw in moisture from the air so it's fine to just put a clip on the top or rubber band round the bag to store it. Unlike the finely powdered versions, which clump all too easily when I try to blend it, the less processed flakes are excellent for adding to protein shakes and smoothies as a thickener and to help offset the high protein content without adding carbohydrate calories. A tablespoon once or twice a day regulates intestinal transit well. Leave a blended fruit and protein smoothie with psyllium to one side longer before consuming it, and it will form a good thick jelly or pudding too, which you can then eat with a spoon! You can't really go wrong.

Great product
I've used a few brands over the years and this one is probably the best one yet. First it's a lot of husk for the money, so even used once or twice a day it should last you a good while. That said, I've found just using in the morning mixed with my cereal is enough for it to do it's job. It's a nice size grain not to powdery so it becomes gloopy or coarse so it's crunchy to the pallet. Taste is pretty well neutral, with no after taste. I can Def recommend this product and will buy again once I've used it all in about another 6 months LOL.

Life changing, finally not scared to eat anymore!
I genuinely thought I had a paralysed digestive system and felt so horrible all the time from it, even daily tasks were uncomfortable. Walking hurt, running hurt, I'd start the day a size 6 and end a size 10. My diet was already mainly veg, fruits, meats and unprocessed foods so I genuinely didn't get why it was the way it was and finally thought I'd give this a go too as a last resort because I was sick of having to rely on laxatives to feel normal! Three months down the line and I am happier than ever, everything is regular, no more weird bloating, and even just the feeling that things are back to normal have made my mental health so much better. I feel free, I can go on a run whenever I want to, I can go to the gym whenever, I no longer end the day with my trousers unbuttoned. My body is finally where I wanted it to be.

Awful taste but love that regular feeling
Been using the product for a good while and it does do the job the price does seem to fluctuate quite a bit and it's quite expensive for what it is compared to other retailers. Great at keeping you regular and make sure to mix it quickly with water and down it before it gets too thick. Taste is awful but it works and is over with quickly!

Average quality
this is more like husk powder that husk...i.e. grain size is considerably smaller with deep malt color texture... believe husk vs powder have different price-point & slightly different propositions...so please make an informed choice... similarly seller should update the label to reflect the true nature of the content & expectation setting thereby... for the price point it's a compelling purchase. Good stuff
Similar to another brand but the best value at the time of purchase. I've bought another Nature Diet product and that was good too, despite the daft name. Psyllium husk is pretty expensive, given what it is, but if you want to top the Bristol Stool Chart it's a winner - at your 'convenience'. Taste is neutral and I now add 10g to a bowl of vegetable slaw just before eating; you would barely know it was there and I think the effect is enhanced, against chugging it on its own with water. Disastrous when added to hot soup: congealed lumps of gunge.

Slightly better value in this larger amount.
I have taken to baking my own bread using a Keto recipe . All the wheat/flour items I have listed are for this. They do work out more expensive overall for the breads, however, if you have to cater for a diabetic or simply want to cut down your carbs, this is the way to go. One decent slice of this bread contains less than 1gram of carbs as opposed to maybe 11 or12 in normal bread. I have found no difference in quality between the different makes of the ingredients so search the Amazon listings for the best one on the day, they do change around a bit like supermarkets.
