I never knew load a .22 could hurt the thumbs so much. After I bought my .22 and loaded a couple of mags a couple of times I search for speed loaders. I liked the look of this one and that it's made in America. Works awesome!

I wanted to take up range shooting and bought a Taurus TX22 as my first gun purchase. The only unpleasant task of this hobby is loading and re-loading the magazine with .22 bullets. Holding down the spring load takes its toll on fingers and fingernails. This magazine loader makes the job much easier. It fits right over the magazine and ensures easy control of the spring loader. Another feature I enjoy about this magazine loader is its composition. It is not made of brittle plastic which can easily chip or crack, but rather a tough rubber-plastic material which will stand up to hundreds of loads and re-loads. The fact that you purchase these in pairs means you will always have a spare.

Got this for a new Taurus TX22 Competition. Unlike the mags for my other 3 .22 semis, which have a somewhat decent “buttons” to push down the follower as you load the metal magazines — buttons that protrude a little but, but enough to be usable — the cheapish all plastic mags that come with the TX22 have assist buttons that are essentially recessed, and with somewhat sharp edges. Just don’t like ‘em, and the magazine “assist” gizmo that comes with the gun is worse than useless: actually makes loading ammo harder. This product makes loading magazines fast, easy, and painless. And it fits so well that it slips over some of the magazines a little less easily than other magazines, suggesting to me that there is some variance in manufacturing tolerances of those darned plastic mags.I have only one criticism of this product: the color of the plastic. I toss my other 22 mag loaders in the magazine pockets of my range bag, and since they’re molded with brightly colored plastic they’re easy to find in the darkness and clutter in the bag. Also hard to miss when packing up to leave the range. This product is made of a very dark olive green, and I have to do a good bit of searching and feeling around to find it if I forget to leave it on one of the mags. Suggestion: dump the green plastic and make these in some bright color, please.

This makes loading magazines a pleasure for Taurus TX22/TX22 Competition. The loader that came with the gun is useless. This is well designed, built well, and as a bonus you get two loaders, for about the price I'd pay for one. The TX22 Competition is a beast to behold!

The loader that comes with the gun is horrible. 10x easier with this.

This is a nice improvement over the one Taraus give me with the gun.
