Very Steady in 20 mph winds.The umbrella is well built. It is very well packaged and protected. Very easy to assemble as well. Maybe 10 min tops.I filled the each side of the base with water ( no sand) only and it still was very stable. I would guess about 200 pounds total. Just have to drain it in the winter. There are drain plugs on each side. The swivel feature is fantastic, very easy to move with the crank.Between swivel and tilt , there are lots of options to follow the sun, and keep everyone in the shade.I had reservations about this purchase, but it totally exceeded expectations. 5 star for sue.

My experience with outdoor furniture made from Sunbrella material, which has proven incredibly durable in Florida's intense sun and weather, influenced my decision. However, this umbrella stood out for its superior construction, which is crucial in Florida where sudden storms demand something rugged and reliable.To complement the umbrella, I bought the Purple Leaf Offset Patio Umbrella Base with Wheels (Sand/Water Filled Square, 35.4" x 35.4" x 7.9"). Once filled with sand and water, the base weighs a hefty 350 lbs, but its hand-cranked wheels make it easy to move around. I can't recommend this base enough—it's solidly built and works perfectly!The umbrella arrived in a long, intact box. Unfortunately, upon unpacking, I found a small abrasion on the fabric and a dent on one of the aluminum spars. Returning it wasn’t ideal since, in every other aspect, it was excellent. I set it up with the base and was immediately impressed by its robust build quality. Having worked in manufacturing for years, I can confidently say it surpasses similar products I tried in stores.I contacted Purple Leaf Customer Service about the damage and had the pleasure of working with Kate. She was responsive, professional, and incredibly helpful. She quickly arranged to send replacement parts and provided detailed videos on how to install them. The new parts arrived promptly in perfect condition, and Kate continued to support me throughout the process, answering any questions I had.In conclusion, I’m thrilled with both the product and the outstanding customer service from Purple Leaf. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is commendable. I highly recommend their products and the excellent support they provide!

We just got our umbrella but so far, we are completely satisfied with it. Delivery was quick and package arrived in good condition. The umbrella is fully assembled. You just need to attach to the base, which you purchase separately. We purchased the wheeled base (https://www.amazon.com/PURPLE-LEAF-Offset-Umbrella-Wheels/dp/B081D57978) which works great! As stated in the instructions, do NOT open the umbrella fully until you take out all the foam packing around the inside ribs. It also comes with an umbrella cover that slips over the umbrella easily.The umbrella opens, rotates and tilts easily with 3 separate cranks. All parts are well made. The sunbrella double top is heavy duty and handles a breezy day much better than I expected.I highly recommend this umbrella. It is a high quality umbrella and the Purple Leaf customer service goes above and beyond to help you and answer any questions.
