A reliable power adapter for my telescope
Purchased this so I can power my telescope from a 12v battery power supply. It works very well, this is much easier than stringing out extension cords across the yard. The adapter is sturdy and well made.

Works fine
Don't know what others complain about but my item seems to fit just fine and look forward to the new replacement

Good product
The cable tip is about 1/10th of a mm narrower than the same cable tip from Celestron, which may cause the cable to wiggle loose more easily. Both the Celestron mount and focus motor let you push the tip all the way in and that is sufficient to keep the cable from falling off. I think that compared with the same item from Celestron, this is a good value.

Both failed within an hour of use. Cheap build quality
Both of my plugs failed (melted) with 4 amps drawn by a telescope mount and ASIAIR mini pc (so I could see amp draw and voltage). The voltage was low getting to my minipc, I thought it was my Jackery not delivering good power through the DC plug. First plug failed and the nipple wouldn’t extend, so I thought it was faulty spring. The 2nd did good and the spring held the nipple out easily. I watched the voltage slowly drop over the next hour, getting low power warnings by my equipment. When I remove the plug the nipple was stuck in it and it was quite hot. Don’t buy these cheap plugs. Save yourself the time and money
