Work great to remove little fuzzy things off a sofa. We hade a light colored couch that was starting to get little balls of fuzz and the sofa was starting to not look so good. I noticed you could scrape the fuzz balls off so I figured I would give this thing a try. Worked great and sofa looks like new. Bonus, no batteries required.

It’s worth the money. It’s easy to use and keeps my sweaters neat.

Didn't work for de-pilling. But works well for general fuzz and smooths out my Marino wool ski socks. They look almost new again. Still need to use small scissors to remove the small balls of lint/"pills" that form on my clothes. I tried it but realized I would have to scrape a lot and would damage the clothing trying to get the balls off.. I have cats and a blanket that shed on everything. This works well to get the cat hair and blanket fibers off pillows and furniture. Works better than a lint roller.

I love this thing! Works great for what I bought it for - which was my couch. You can see in the picture the before and after. It takes some time and work, but this works way better than the battery powered one I’ve tried. And the lint remover on the opposite end works great for removing dog hair from my couch! It’s faster than using the vacuum, and won’t run out of sheets like a lint roller.Overall I’m thrilled!I did try the lint remover on a sweater and didn’t love it as much - still worked, just not as well as with the sofa.I’d buy it again for sure!

This works great but it took me 30 minutes to clean one couch cushion. Get ready to break a sweat and have a sore shoulder in the morning. If you plan to use this on clothing then you'll be fine, however, if you are planning to use this on a couch you'll need to plan out a saturday to do so.

You don’t want a million doodads hanging around. This one has not only made a whole house full of sweaters look new again, but works great as a basic lint-brush as well.Note that any of these ‘cashmere combs’ require some technique. You want to use short, frequent strokes, and be willing to cover the same spot several times. You’re gently loosening up the little “pills”, and pulling them gradually away from the surface. But once you patiently master the technique, they all come away, but WITHOUT DAMAGING THE UNDERLYING MATERIAL, and you have a fresh new looking garment. It’s a bargain at several times the price.

The first thing I tried this on was my sofa. It took off 80% of the pilling. This did require going over the cushions several times. Worked well on a pilling fleece jacket and a wool sweater. Does not take off all the pilling without several swipes.

Bought this on a recommendation from my mom who heard me griping about using my small handheld battery operated shaver on blankets that were pilling badly in the wash. She gushed over how amazing this product was and how much faster it worked than the average battery operated shavers. Since it seems all clothing is made from polyester these days, and good quality is a thing of the past, I’m constantly shaving and lint rolling balls of fuzz from clothes and blankets. So I was excited to have a faster way to do it.Well, this product sure did disappoint. It caused more problems than a battery operated shaver because as balls attach to the thin side, they quickly fall off again, thus re-sticking to your clothes and creating MORE WORK FOR YOU! To prevent this you have to keep stopping to try and remove the smallest amount of buildup on the thin edge, which again, is MORE time consuming than traditional shavers. So I tried just using the lint brush edge, but same goes for this. It does work great AT FIRST, but as soon as there is a layer of lint attached to the head, it starts leaving some of that lint behind when you touch the head to a new spot to clear a line of lint from your item.To make things worse, you need to use the thin edge “blade” to clean the lint brush of all lint. And be prepared to do this several times in the course of cleaning just ONE item. In doing so, I quickly noticed the sandpaper-like material that covered the thin edge was already starting to wear off! And I had only used it for less than one day!I’ve now used this “medium” width thin edge a handful of times and— as the picture shows— the black covering that is meant to catch the pilling is almost completely worn off. Talk about poor quality ... and the reason for my 3 star rating. I’d like to rate it less cause it’s so time consuming to use, but when it does work, it removes lint well. But who has time to waste doing it the old fashion way when u can do it in half the time and with a lot less headaches using a better product than this? I know I surely don’t.

Bought on a recommendation from Pottery Barn for one of their fabrics on slipcover sofa and it worked perfectly to restore a smoother look. Have since used it on furniture, clothing including old pilled sweatshirts and makes a noticeable improvement on all. Nice that it is simple and no batteries. Works well!
