I used it in the furnace and it is perfectly working without any burnmark on it.

I was scouting for the glass wool for the bike silencer. I only could (ceramic wool which is far superior) in Amazon. The whole seller were having a cap on minimum purchase of 15kg. I have used the wool today. The product is soft i think it can withstand a temperature of 1200° which is also used in space and aviation technology. This small quantity helps users like me to fullfill my jobs. This after filling in the silencer of the bike the sound has become soft, bike feels different, sound is well insulated and easy to handle unlike the glasss wool which has fragments of glass getting under the skin.

The Insulation in my 3 litre water geyser was shredded like cotton and even burnt. Even the people I called for repair didn't bother or point out that the insulation was useless. I looked offline. Went to the market. They didn't have it. Then I ordered it online. Took apart the geyser and put this all around the water tank. I actually insulated it better than it had come from the factory. I cut the insulation to size...and even patched the top part. Now my Geyser is working top performance and the water is heating better at a lower temperature setting. Thank you. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics. But main point is.. measure it and cut it according to size..and wrap it all round. Then pull the restraining cord tightly so that the insulation actually thins down just under the cords to help you tie them or hold them together with the clip. Just pull it and it will fit.

Works as described. Tested it on live fire and it's fire-proof. Best for wrapping flammable items over longhaul transportation through extreme weather conditions.

On the label it says it will work in a car exhaust... well definitely not and it blows everywhere. Can't speak for the other uses

As some of you may know, glass needs to cool at a proper rate to avoid leaving thermal stress in the material. Without a kiln, this can be exceptionally difficult to avoid breaking pieces from improper cooling. My mentor and I were short a kiln for most of this summer, and were restricted to what we could and could not make on the torch. This little guy saved the day for our bench-cooling needs! In fact, months later, we are still using it! It holds up great, and the ceramic fiber doesn't shed off in strings into our hand! The dust is really easy to wash off, so this shouldn't injure you or irritate your skin if you use your hands a lot. Great value for the money, and this stuff is an excellent insulator. The material appears to be of relatively good quality.
