Does anyone have experience using this for a proper Spit Shine?

You can achieve a spit shine Angelus shoe wax polish. The best polish for a spit shine is Lincoln. If you want to achieve the ultimate spit shine, I recommend several coats (that is several spit shines on top of each other) with Kelly's "Lynn satin polish" (but not any of Kelly's other products) to a achieve a deep color. Then follow that with several coats of Lincoln. You'll notice that I didn't mention using Angelus. I rank it number three after Lincoln and Kelly's. But Angelus is still far better than Kiwi.

Hi Vicki, yes it is. Too dark for me, ruin a good pair of gray shoes I own; gave a 2 tone look, not sure if you can use it. A light gray would have been better for any type of shoe that is gray. I threw mine away since I couldn't use it.

I have been using lincoln polish for layering then kiwi parade gloss after. will i have to strip everything off and start over with angelu's?

Nope. Just polish like normal. Its a good polish like Kiwi.
