I love the colors, but was unhappy as it is supposed to be waterproof - It indeed is not.. the back pink part as well as the front has holes in it that water gets into. I have to scramble and keep the screw driver with me, in the emergency that my phone accidentally gets wet, to take it off and dry it up.A little disappointed.

Based on the reviews of this case that I read AFTER I had already ordered, I was terrified that this case was going to be horrible when it arrived. I was completely wrong. The case fit perfectly. GPS is working great. I know some mentioned "oil looking spots" where the gorilla glass touched the phone screen but mine did not. It did do that AFTER I put a new screen protector on. That's just because I wanted double protection. You cannot see any of that when the phone is in use. Only slightly when it is off.No, the case is not WATERPROOF. It is very WATER RESISTENT. The "S" shaped curves on the back of the case are open. That is obviously so the case can connect to Bluetooth devices and "share" info between phones by tapping, which is hard to do with metal cases. I am anal and did not like the back open, so my husband took carbon fiber (that we used to pin strip our car) and placed a small piece on the back of my galaxy just so none of the phone would be exposed. The silicone is tight, so I am sure water would not have gotten in-between, but I didn't want the "verizon" logo showing, etc. Mesh is covering the holes in the front which helps to make it more water resistant. The plugs for the USB and the SPen are tight. They can be hard to open, but to me, that only added to the durability of the case and not letting water seep inside.As for the weight, yes, it is heavier. You should expect that when ordering a metal case. I got used to the added weight within thirty minutes of using my phone.At this point, I would have given 5 stars, but there was a small scratch on the left, back side of the case. When purchasing a new product...I do not want to see any scratches. That was the most disappointing thing I could think of about the case. Since I have only had the case for about four days, I have no idea if the glass will break or how sturdy it will stand up to a drop. If I find over the next few weeks that the case cracks, glass falls off, etc. I will update. Otherwise, the case is exactly what I was looking for.*****UPDATE**** July 30, 2014 - Case will eventually cause phone to lose GPS Signal. It does not happen at first, which is strange, but I have read others who have experienced the same problem. When you are traveling on the interstate it is much worse than around town and you will also lose any type of signal for calls etc. I will keep this case to use incase I hike, go to the beach, etc. But, I will have to take the case off until I get to where ever my destination is. The second you take the case off, everything starts to work again. Definitely sturdy, but not worth the money if you travel.

A little heavy but definitely protects your phone.

I wish I had read reviews before I placed the $32 order. With the back open, how in the world is this waterproof. Makes no sense. Not only that but, I ordered pink/white and they sent red/white... and I had to wait 2 weeks for that disappointment. I still can't understand why they didn't e-mail me to say they one I wanted was out of stock instead of just sending something in it's place. So with my e-mailed complaint, they refunded a whole $3. Whoop-ti-do!

This case is NOT waterproof. The title of the product is misleading - there are places the phone is not even covered. Also, the screen of the case is touching the screen of the phone and created these weird-looking oil spots. They make the screen hard to see. AND my proximity sensor is inhibited by the case, too. Otherwise, the case is sturdy and cute.

Case is very sturdy but definitely not waterproof I purchased the case because I was looking for a waterproof case. The description needs to be changed also with such a heavy metal case I had problems with the gps and network connection. GPS rarely worked. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing because if I had I would not have purchased.
