BIO Oil 2oz.

For a long time I searched for this kind of product. My 11 years old son's class started trumpet lessons at the beginning of this school year, and I was overjoyed by this, until one day I became aware of a strong smell every time he oiled his instrument. It was petroleum smell. I did some research, and found out that ALL oils for brass and wind instruments have petroleum in them. I bought a different oil - a highly recommended one - and the smell was still there.I was sick from the very though about all the petroleum fumes that my son inhales every time he plays the trumpet. I even considered seriously telling him to quit trumpet. I was not willing to risk his health.And then - after more searches - I found this oil online.The delivery from the US (I live in China) was quick, the oil itself works wonderfully, the trumpet gets stuck considerably less often than before, and most importantly - it has a nice gentle smell. No petroleum!I want to encourage everybody to switch to this oil, so that it'll stop being a "best kept secret", and by that to give a booster to the small company that produces this oil. My hope is that eventually all the other manufacturers will understand - by the demand of the consumers - the necessity of such a petroleum-free product.

The oil itself is absolutely amazing. However, the description of the product is inaccurate, including the title. Included was basically a variety pack of the different viscosity valve oils, rather than one 2 oz. Bottle of the regular viscosity. This included three 1 Oz bottles of, heavy, regular and light viscosity.

This is plant based! I had always felt guilty using oil. So much so I was thinking of switching to trombone. (I like trombotine. My hands are so dry it serves a double purpose.)BUT my 1888 E flat Slater cornet does great with it. So I can play my favorite instrument with a clean conscience. I need to focus on one instrument to learn jazz. This makes it possible.

It solved the problem I was having with my Bach Strad Trumpet completely, however I would like to order he "light" version, as the oil I got has a totally different feel, but overally, tremendously satisfied.
