Hoping this review helps clear things up for some folks. The unit has been updated over the years, the version I received is the 2023 update. There are also 3 versions (under different listings): 3in1 is just the changeable filter, 4in1 adds the UV-C light, and 5in1 adds the UV-C light and an Ionizer function. I ordered the 5in1 version and received the 5in1 version. The original filter in the machine can be bought on Amazon, it's model HHAP0009-1; it is the same one for all 3 versions since it only provides the first 3 types of purifying. The updated 2023 version drops the all around the edge color display some user photos show (thankfully). It does have an automatic function and a single light that changes color based on current sensor measurements. Or you can manually switch through 6 fan speeds. I just turned on the UV, Ion, and Auto function then turned off the lights and let it do its job. The sensors on these types of machines are infrared, so they also see humidity as air particles. I hopped in the shower and when I got out it had ramped up the speed accordingly and then slowed back down as it dissipated. At night it sat next to my CPAP and I couldn't hear it over the CPAP, so it's pretty quiet. Most fan settings you hear the noise of air moving through the filter only...that's a good sign your filter isn't clogged. On the lowest speed I could hear a clicking sound like baseball cards in the spokes of a bicycle wheel. Letting it run for 24hrs that sound is greatly diminished and now hardly perceptible even when I put my ear right next to the machine. I don't know if the motor is the energy efficient brushless type or not, but I suspect that it is because the new plug for the machine is a USB-C 40w adapter (in context that is half the power of my cell phone charger). All told, it seems like it will be a good machine with the breadth of functions I was looking for.

I put an UV light in the furnace in my home to help kill off dust mites, and another bacteria, but I also wanted an air purifier that had this light in it as well and there is literally none except this model The price was great the filter the replacements look cheap. There’s a lot of functionality to this unit so far. I’m very happy with it and I think this is definitely gonna be different from other air purifiers because of the UV light to actually kill things and not just trap them and hold them.

Honest humble review Dave Before the filter was placed in my ranch home, we all coughed sneezed and allergies were just awful. We noticed an immediate improvement in our air quality. Our health is better, and our sleep, and runny nose is gone. We have dog hairs in our home, now no issues. Great product at an excellent cost. The Auto mode adjusts the fan and if you place it in the bedroom they have a go to bed speed to make it almost silent. it has UV and ION filter included Filter is easy to get on Amazon. This is my second (well technically, now my third) Azeus. I had tried other air filters, but for smell and efficiency, this air filter won out. It is relatively quiet especially on the lowest setting. And on the lowest setting, the lights on top go out. It is very sensitive to pollutants. I can see when the lights change if the air is challenged. I would rather have a choice as to whether I see the lights or not though. And on/off switch would be nice. i like keeping it on the second to lowest(the lowest being sleep) but the lights are on all the time at this setting. My second one (I gave the first one away) ended up having troubles. It would not switch modes and the light to see if the ionizer was on or off failed. I called customer service and spoke with Lyn. She had one here as soon as they could get it here. And though we communicated over chat, she still seemed very nice. She was very helpful. Their customer service is fantastic. They also had given me a free filter for registering it when I purchased it, and I remember Jun Yang was exceptionally nice. It is because the light on top wthout a way to turn it off, and that it did fail before teh year was out (though I'm glad it failed under warranty!) that I gave 4 stars instead of five. Also it created a sort of hum that took getting used to at the second lowest setting. That could be my hypersensitivity though. otherwise it is completely 5 star. All and all I highly recommend this air filter. It is very helpful with odors and air quality both. And is quiet at the lower settings.

Just received, and plugged in with gusto !!! Works like a beast ! UV and ionizer, 5 step air filtration with HEPA filter. Multiple cycles and timings. Quality product, inexpensive price. Quiet.

Amazing filter! Does just what it says!

Worked for around 12-13 months, scheduled to run during the day when we're working. Then the UV light control board burned up. Surprised it didn't start a fire. I wouldn't recommend this air purifier due to my experience with the components that might possibly be shoddily produced in haste - there's not enough heat dissipation for the control board which seems to be the reason the transformer on the board burned out. Now the fan smells like burning electronics and I can't even use it to run as a room recirculation fan. Destined for the bin...

This air purifier has a sleek look and it runs not too loud. I bought it at Amazon Deal of Day so the price is really attractive. It came to my door next day, very promptly. I bought it due to COVID-19 rapidly spreading US and I want to have a cleaner air in my house. I don’t know if this UVC air purifier with ionizer option kills Coronavirus, but it certainly provides fresh air in my house. I can smell the fresh air. I had a little difficulty to pop open the front cover since the plastic bag wrapped around the filter needed to be removed before using. I couldn’t locate “the lock” at the bottom of the cover. I sent a message to the customer service and within seconds I was helped. Although the customer service couldn’t help me since I asked for a photo, I am happy with their speedy response. I managed to locate the latches, shown in my photo, which are under the instruction label and the symmetrical locations on the other side. I forced open and completed my mission. I only used for one day and I am happy to purchase this product. In the future I will update my review if I encounter any negative aspects. * update: I have been using this air filter for a week. It works really great! I always have mild allergy symptoms and this air filter made me symptoms free when I was at home. I had never expected this outcome when I purchased this product! * update: I have used this item for a year! I LOVE IT! Bought another one for my parents. They LOVE IT too! When I replaced the filter, I can see how much debris the filter caught: A LOT! Strongly recommend this item.
