Great little battery maintainer!
Seems to be working fine as I have had it plugged into my Escalade ESV for several days. It is keeping the battery at optimum charge which has been a problem due to all the options that are always drawing current and that I do not drive it that often. It was easy to hook up as I simply used the rear power point. The other hook up cables are fine and have installed one on my Kawasaki Teryx 800 as well. I especially like this model because it floats the charge as the battery requires. I am thinking of ordering one for my son who has vehicles that are used infrequently.

Polaris Slingshot
Work perfectly to add a trickle charger to a polaris slingshot and charge it using the power port.

Very easy to use
I originally purchased one to connect to the batter but then I had to worry about the cable. With this one I just unplug it and go. Not needs to remain connected to the vehicle or other modifications.

was as advertised
worked with no problems, used with a battery maintainer to keep car battery charged.

Well made. Works well.
I have several of these VPP-12 cigarette lighter adapters for my multiple BatteryMinders. They are very well made & work well. They do have a slight tendency to pop out of some larger diameter cigarette lighter sockets, but I only have that happen on 1 vehicle and not on my others, nor is it a problem on my portable power packs which have cigarette lighter charging inputs.

Saves me a lot of trouble.
It works well in the lighter receptacles in both of our heavy trucks (which is why I got it). On our heavy trucks, the batteries in our Peterbilt are difficult to get to; the batteries in our Kenworth are very difficult to get to. This makes it very easy to connect our BatteryMINDer to the trucks to maintain their batteries.Unfortunately, it pops out of the receptacle in our '89 Chevy G20 van. With that, however, I can easily get to the battery to use alligator clips.

Worth the extra few bucks
Great addition to 1510 Battery Minder. Battery on my vehicle is in closed compartment. This option allows for an easy connection to 12v power plug

Best choice for a car stored outsdie
I use the provided + & - color coded battery post rings and quick disconnect cable for a car stored inside the garage.. The Battery Minder is not designed for outside use. The power plug uses the cigarette lighter outlet inside the car to recharge and desulphate the battery of the car stored outside...the Battery Minder remains in the car on the floor behind the passenger seat. When I use the outside vehicle...I just disconnect the outside extension cord.that runs into the car in the gap below the passenger door...leave the Battery Minder on the rear floor...reconnect on return. No weather issues. I will never have a dead battery on either car. No resetting personal settings, preset AM/FM/XM radio station selections...no seat/mirror resets, etc.
