Love how they are smart batteries. The thing I don't like is they don't hold a charge long for what use them for is my 1/7 scale RC car. I see other brand same amount of Cs last longer then 25 to 35 minutes. Spectrum you got to figure this out and I h hey 7

Basics & Considerations: - there are several different “makeups” for batteries. Most common on today’s RC is LIPO - know your models motor capabilities and your own skill level. 2S (7 v) for lower speeds / lower end motors. 3s (11 v) higher performance. Some cars allow you to use more. Higher the S number generally higher the voltage. - still personally trying to understand C ratings. From what I know it’s the velocity and charge rate / discharge. The higher the number the more stable the battery. 50C is usually recommended. But you can get away with 30c. This one is a 100c. - hard cases are always recommended. But a soft case will work. Just higher puncture risk. And punctures are bad. - Most Spektrum batteries use either IC3 or IC5. Check your connector before choosing. Amazon does an awful job of filtering the right connector. I made a mistake twice. You can buy an adapter but it’s generally considered less efficient. This one uses an Ic5 - the gray background batteries are all Gen1 and use an extra cable to properly balance. Gen 2 have the orange background and do not require a balance wire. I highly recommend getting g2 if you can ! This particular battery is a g1 - make sure you find the right charger. Spektrums smart chargers make it pretty easy. - capacity is covered in Mah. 3200 - 5000 is usually a good range. Your car may claim it requires a specific amount. It’s really unlikely. This particular battery is 5000 mah - the higher these numbers the higher the cost Review: The battery holds its charge well enough. However it can be fickle with the charger I have. Some reason requires me to plug in several times before it will keep charging. Other lipos I have do not have this problem. Range is as advertised. Was just a bit to pricy in my mind especially for a g1.

Incorrect battery in the correct box. How did this happen? When these battery boxes come with their protective seals cut it's time to worry. Manufacturers apply these seals to their product so the buyer is assured a new purchase which has not been tampered with. These are very expensive lipo batteries of which I like to know I'm getting what I paid for, but in this case the seal has been cut and a completely different battery arrived in an original Spektrum box. I ordered four of these in which two have been opened. The other opened box contained what appears to be the correct battery but without the paper work which is important because of the dangerous warnings it describes to the buyer on how to use and handle the battery. All boxes should have the same contents. Two boxes on right had their original seals intact. Second box from left the seal was cut through but then resealed with a clear, difficult to see round sticker to hide the cut seal. Box on left had cut seal with a battery that just did not belong. The single box photo shows the strange battery. I've requested a refund only on the strange battery as I won't deal with this shop again.
