It features him singing and accompanying himself on piano, making only occasional use of other instruments. It includes a cover of the Joni Mitchell classic, "A Case of You", retitled "A Case of U". Mitchell receives special thanks in the liner notes.

The vinyl is purple!
Although I originally sought a different vinyl of Prince at the piano, I gave this album a chance, and I am happy I did. Great music and sound. No issues with the record.

NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS ALBUM
WOW. AN AMAZING ALBUM BY PRINCE. The music on this last concert performance is truly something very special. I received the album yesterday and playing it for the 1st time as I'm writing this. NOTHING to dislike about this album. MUSIC is BEAUTIFUL and the VINYL plays excellent. I am very pleased with this purchase. Thankyou to the Prince Estate and Amazon for making this possible. I am enjoying this album so much and I hope one day they release this performance on DVD.

Prince and a Piano
This was released BEFORE Piano and a Microphone, and it showed what Prince could do with just the keys and his voice. Some great songwriting, with only one really questionable song ("Avalanche").
