We love this anchor! I bought it for a 10 pound dog and it works perfectly. I have it drilled into the middle of my yard. It is holding tight and is low enough for the mower to clear it, plus it was super easy to install. Keeps my little Duke safe and happy while he patrols the lawn. It does feel solid enough to work for a bigger dog, but alas I can only attest to a 10 pounder.

Top notch device. I've put my full weight into this roughly 195lbs and it didnt put a dent in to yanking it out the ground. Swivels still smooth. Definitely would suggest it to anyone looking.

Just as advertised. It was easy to install. My 12 year old used a power tool and had it in the ground in less than 2 minutes. It hasn't budge since. The 360 swivel works great and my dog (we use a chest harness) has not got tangled up yet. He's a really active dog. We use it for free exercise periods (we don't have a fenced in yard) when he would otherwise be stuck inside. It so secure I don't have to worry about him breaking loose. I put him on it while im cooking supper and watch him play through the window and door.

Held very well in the ground. Only giving 4 stars because I bought two, since I have two dogs, and one was missing the carabiner. But they function just fine without the carabiner and I can easily replace it if it comes down to it.

EXACTLY as promised. Once installed there is no wiggle. Concerned, I have a 70lb 1yr old GSD. Installed tie out on a slight hill. After several straight days of rain, it remained just as stable as completely dry earth. Even at a full gallop she's secure. Great product.

Only thing that will keep my dog in the yard. Fantastic in dirt not so great in Virginia clay but it works!!

Item rated for 1000lbs and my Rottweiler put this to the test and the dog won. This is a solid product if it hasn't rained. Easy to install with drill and socket. Rottie tested it to the max and this didn't budge. WARNING: IF IT RAINS AND YOU HAVE A BIG DOG, DON'T USE IT UNTIL GROUND DRIES. After a good rain we connected the dog to this and shortly after, she saw a deer. She took off in a full sprint and ripped this right out of the ground. After finding her in another neighborhood pulling a 50' lanyard and this anchor attached, surprisingly there's still 3 screws that didn't fall out. She ran through the woods to the other side through a neighborhood. I wanted to laugh so hard but fighting not to die from breathing so hard chasing my effing dog. See the picture and notice she bent the 1/4" steel base. If you have a dog like mime, it would be advisable to buy 3x 12" screws and alternate them with the screws it come with. I tried contacting the seller to get 12" screws but got the stupid bot so returned for replacement and I'll buy the 12" screws. I hope this helps.
