Eagle Lights Equalizer Plug and Play Load Equalizer and Stabilizer for 2004-2013 Harley Davidson Sportster Motorcycle LED Turn Signals

Worked nicely on my 1998 Harley Davidson softail custom FXSTC. Tried the O2 USA ones but was not overly thrilled with them getting hot and to be 3” away from plastic and wires. This produces no heat and all my LED lights work just fine. Pay no attention anything states that it does not fit your bike (at least the older ones) it’s a Harley. The original Franken-bike. Find what you like, make it fit, make it work. As far as newer bikes go. I wouldn’t know but if they’re like new cars then there isn’t much you can do but find one that is a fit for your bike. Sorry.

After installing LED upgraded turn signals on my 2010 Harley Street Glide it was apparent that I needed an equalizer to slow the rapid blinking. The Eagle Equalizer worked as advertised on my bike and was easy to install. The hardest part was actually finding the inline plug to plug it into. It was not under the tank, not under the right rear panel but under the left rear panel behind the saddle bag. I followed the left rear turn signal wire along the frame to the plug and plugged in the equalizer. I’m very happy with the results and would highly recommend the Eagle Equalizer Plug and Play Load Equalizer and Stabilizer for 2010-2013 Harley Davidson.

So I purchased the load equilizer for 04 - 13 sportster. Simple install and the hyper flash went right away but my alarm keeps flashing the lights for about 5 minutes after I turn the bike off. Not every time its inconsistent. I reached out to Eagle Light and was told that unfortunatley this unit doesn't alway work with every Harley security system. Their customer service is top notch though. I recieved the first email back within a couple hours and after I responded and wasn't happy with their first responce cause this wouldn't work for my bike and they suggested resistors I would have to splice into my wiring which is what I don't want to do. (that why I spent 80 on this not 20 on resistors) Their customer service came back a day later letting me know that if I want to return this to amazon and set up a order with them they would build me a custom harness with the resistors built in so I would have to cut up my wiring. the harness was a reasonably price also. So even if their product isn't perfect Eagle Lights customer service is really good. They look to satisfy their customers.

I am a big bright light guy and the LED technology drop in available is great but it causes issues with some older bikes. I had the flashy blinkers but they still worked so I was not bent about that. What my issues was it kept tripping an alarm code and there was a key symbol in odometer dashboard that would come and go. I had a local HD dealer do a service and diagnose the code. He reset the code error but it would come back and was referencing alarm and lights. Well the models with alarms flash the lights and I guess the LED replacements were throwing off the alarm system. This set up seemed to fix it both flashy blinkers and the alarm error. Very pleased with this product.

About 2 months into running the unit, the left rear turn signal stopped working out of the blue. And since they only have a 30-day exchange or return window I'm screwed out of my 80 bucks. I would definitely look into a different brand if I were shopping for a Load Equalizer. Custom Dynamics has a lifetime warranty on their load equalizers, I will be installing that on my bike as soon as it arrives.

My addition of LED front signals caused the flashers to blink very quickly after about 3 seconds. I'm tired of splicing into the wiring harness, so this was nice. The electronic unit is a little large, and the harness has 2 extra plugs and additional wiring. On a Sportster there isn't much room, but with a little thought to the routing it fits well. The best part is that you plug it into the bike's wiring harness and it's done. No cutting those wires or trying to pull the pins and make a nice splice. No soldering, shrink tape, electrical tape, butt connectors etc. Instead of an hour messing with the wires, just put the components behind the battery cover on the side, run the plugs under the frame and put the seat back on.

Plug and play, solved the issue immediately. 2006 Street Bob full LED conversion.

I installed it on Fatboy low 2010 because I got hyper flash when I install LEDs turn signals I thought this device going to solve the hyper flash and the key symbol on the dashboard it solve the hyper flash and turn off the key symbol on the dash, but my security alarm start to be weird if I turn off the motorcycle and stand beside it it will not close the security. make the turn signal flash every five seconds for no reason I don’t recommend it.

Took about 5 minutes to install. Eliminated my hyper flashing problem. Thank you

I have a 2010 injection model and changed to led got hyper flash, having read about the problem I did want to start cutting wires then found this, did wonder if it would be that easy.......and it was so pleased 😊
