DIGISION Wine Bottle Foil Cutter (Black)

I picked this based on the reviews, however this is the worst foil cutter I have ever seen. Made of very weak cheap plastic (I can see how this would and will break easily at some point), but the worst part is how it cuts. The jagged blades make the foil cut in a jagged fashion....so you have to turn it several times to get it to cut it all and then the foil is left a hot mess. It eventually gets the job done, sort of, but not in the way you would want. Especially avoid this if you were planning on using this at your restaurant job as the end result is not acceptable.

I received this about a week ago. It was carefully packaged and right on time.I really love this. It is so simple yet so effective. Just put it on the top of your wine bottle, squeeze and turn. The foil comes right off.I am one of those people who tries to take off the foil with a sharp knife. Yea, I know dumb and many a night I imagined myself slipping and putting an eye out. Scarey. With this I no longer have to worry about wearing an eye patch. This is officially my new favorite kitchen tool! I usually and up screwing my corkscrew in through the foil and then rip through the foil as I pull the cork off. Then I have to go and pull all the pieces of foil off, but I still can't pull off the thicker foil underneath and it is just a pain. This foil cutter gets the entire thing off in one smooth twist. You don't really even have to squeeze it. It gives me a nice clean pour and I don't have to worry about drinking any bits of foil. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. But I love wine and I've been wanting one of these things for a while so I'm so glad I finally got one.

This cutter is not very sharp, and requires several passes to cut wine bottle foil. It is a flexible plastic to accommodate various size wine bottles. However, fter about a year of use, it snapped in 2 pieces. Note: This is the Red version.

I was looking for a foil cutter that a straight knife edge. This one is serrated and so it does not make a clean cut. Defeats the purpose of a foil cutter.
