Best compost book ever
Well written ,with as much detail as other compost books, but available to even the least academic grower. Not just a children's book, but definitely children friendly. We will be using it, and recommending it, on all the Permaculture courses we run.

Best compost book
A neat little book that tells you all you need to know about compost. What it is, how to make it and why to make compost. Subtitled 'A Family Guide to Making Soil From Scraps', this book will engage children with pull-put activities, stickers and more. You can even add the book to the heap, but make sure you've absorbed all the info first. Turning your kitchen waste into gardening and being part of the cycle is cool in gardening terms and garden books don't come much cooler than this. Discover the different types of worms, what they love and hate. I love the composting wheel - see at a glance what can be composted and the Worms and Ladders game. This fun book makes composting easy.

Making compost fun (as it should be!)
The bright colours, clear writing, interesting facts and stickers (yes stickers!) make this book a firm family favourite. Compost is a fascinating topic but often writing on the subject is a bit worthy and serious. This book changes that - it's fun, lighthearted, but with enough information in it to make it genuinely useful (but not too much to make it feel overwhelming). Even my wife, who has a phobia of worms (which feature a lot in the book!), read it.

A great book for anyone interested in learning about the basics of compost
This book brings what could be considered a slightly dull topic to life in interesting, informative, fun and creative ways. Relevant for all ages and anyone interested in recycling and living in a more sustainable way
