Great good quality kettle. Just like the picture and its been working for last 3 years.

I am very happy with my new (white) kettle, I love the style of it, it is lightweight with a great big handle and it is quick to fill as the lid removes easily. It is quiet, boils fast and pouring is easy. So far I’ve had no problems.

Our old kettle died suddenly and the ancient spare we keep for such eventualities was not a long term solution. We decided to spend a bit more on this kettle then we usually would but the good news is that is was worth it. I do not know how long it will last but it has a guarantee and it looks good and works beautifully. It is easy to unpack and set up. It pours well and has a removable lid. It is quiet to operate and the boiled water tastes good. It is necessary to do a couple of boils and pour that water away, at first use but that is fairly normal for most kettles we have had. So far it is staying clean and I just love it. The handle is tactile and keeps the steam away from you hands. The only negative is that the level gauge is slightly obscured by the handle but generally we are coping with this okay and it is readable. The maximum level only fills the kettle to about 2/3rds and so some care is required, not to over fill it. This kettle is lovely. I love the green we chose. We have used the Swan brand before and generally been happy. It is worth shopping around because different colours and stores mean different prices. I dropped a star because it is a bit pricey, in my opinion. However, it arrived the next day and is just what we needed. If this kettle suits you needs and budget it is a very good buy.

Purchased using gift vouchers in June 2021. A little disappointed as the handle is coated and not wooden but love the quirky retro design and colour, so unusual and a bit of treat to have something so different! It's a bit tricky to keep clean and scale free (we live in very hard water area) but outside wipes down. The boiled water tastes awful but found if you wait for the boiling and simmering of the water to stop before you pour the water into your cup, the taste disappears. Horrible, tastes like TCP. The scale filter isn't fit for purpose if you don't keep it scale free, it just pours through. October 2021 I noticed the coating on the handle peeling. So I reached out to Swan to help as it was still fairly new. I received a copy/paste response from their customer service team who clearly hadn't read my message or understood the nature of the issue. In order to get a refund or credit you have to write in permanent marker all over the appliance, cut the cord and submit pictures to their customer service and wait for approval. How bloody stupid is that? I'd have to buy a kettle in the meantime or use my hob to boil water which isn't a massive issue, worse things going on in the world than a peeling kettle handle, but the inference that in order to get a refund or a replacement you have to prove you will no longer use the product. I don't like that, that somehow I'm having to prove I'm not lying or intend to be dishonest? A replacement was offered but why would I want the same product with the same fault anyway? I would have been happy with a goodwill gesture or some credit towards a new alternative Swan product if they couldn't go for a full refund. But they took the hard line and I'm not digging that. Nope, Swan. You got it wrong this time. I'll keep using the peely handle kettle and then when the time comes, I'll chose an alternative and better quality brand. won't be buying the matching toaster now, either.

Great look and worked well for 8 months, where the on/off switch failed. Fully refunded and have bought another one hoping it it was a one off problem.

Looked good for about 8 months, then the handle started to peel even though we don't use any abrasives or soaps on it. I was informed that the warranty does not cover this. Otherwise good.

Fast billing and looks good. Using an adapter plug but works well. Easy to keep clean.
