Mountain Bike Shorts
They are perfect baggy mountain bike shorts. Have strictly ridden only trails for past 30+ years, these are exactly what's advertised. Comfortable as F, no binding anywhere, plenty of pockets and comes with pad. What more does a guy need? Ok, as far as these shorts are concerned, buy them and love them, they don't disappoint. Don't listen to the naysayers complaining about the pad...duh.. They are bicycling shorts.. Just not the hugging Lycra that roadies wear. These could be used for serious rides, shucking and jiving through the trails, we'll see how they hold up against the brush. I love them and will buy another pair at this price, much better than the shorts I've had at triple and quadruple the price of these, a no brainer for sure. Happy Trails!!

Increase riding comfort dramatically.
These bike shorts are great! Bought them to take the edge off riding, and take saddle fatigue out of the equation. I also have a gel seat cover, and these shorts give me just the right amount of comfort to make the riding pleasant, and let me focus in my legs and cardio, instead if my sore butt.

Love the style, but a little long.
These same shorts are also available without the padded inner lining. I bought a pair of those in medium and the waist was okay, but the length was too long. I'm 5'6" and 145lbs and the cuffs were just below my knees. I really liked the style, but this padded version is the only one I could find in small, so I decided to give it a try. Hated the padding. It's effective while riding, but I wouldn't want to wear them while walking, anywhere. Not even 20 feet to a bathroom. You can't tell from the outside, but the padding sags, bunches, and just feels incredibly awkward while standing. Fortunately, the padded lining is easily removed with a pair of scissors. The lining is very soft, so I don't even feel the ragged edges left behind. Now I have the shorts I originally wanted, in small. Happy with my purchase.

Fit is kind of odd, but worked well on the bike
UPDATE 9/30/22: Have ridden with these shorts a dozen times now since purchase. They have performed extremely well. They are a little high-waisted, so once I pulled them up a bit, much less of the diaper feel. But still super comfortable on the bike and the pockets work great. Am putting another pair on my birthday list. Overall very happy with the product. The shorts look good, the material is comfortable and moves well, the pockets are nice. I just started riding a bike again after about 20 years. So all I had for shorts was one older pair of traditional bike shorts that I wore back in 1998. I am older and strictly a trail rider now, so not only did I need more than one pair, I also wanted something more “gravely” than traditional Lycra bike shorts. These fit the bill. The only odd thing about them is the proportions of the sizing. I recently lost a lot of weight, so I opted for a size L. They fit fine in the waist, nice comfortable waist band, length is fine, but…the crotch part with the padding hangs a good 2+” inches below my actual crotch. It’s like they were designed for someone with a thinner waist and a giant booty. With it hanging so low, and the padding bunched up, I felt like i was wearing a “loaded” diaper. I was concerned that the looseness there might cause some chafing. But when I got on the bike, they were fine—I had good movement, the padding was great, and they were super comfortable. So I guess I won’t be using them for hiking, but I really enjoyed them on the bike.

Comfortable went in place properly, but too baggy
This was my very first pair of biking shorts, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. But after going to REI and trying on stuff there, I now see the flaws of this pair. First, like most other reviewers are saying, the liner is a bit too loose. It probably hangs 4 in below my crotch when I'm standing. When I put them on, before I get on my bike, I feel like I'm walking around with a diaper full of crap. My wife even asked if I needed to go to the bathroom before I left for the first time. But luckily, once I'm on the bike, The pad stays mostly where it needs to be and has relieved pretty much all of the pain I was dealing with while riding. The second negative though, is how baggy the shorts are. The waist itself fits perfectly fine. This actually got me in trouble once, because I was sitting at a stoplight, and as soon as it turned green, I attempted to hop back on the saddle and the crotch of my pants got caught on the front of the saddle, causing me to not only stumble, but also slip off my pedals. I'm sure the person who is behind me at the light thought I was a moron.

Cycling shorts
The shorts are awesome. the padding inside is not removable. I bought an extra large because I wanted a looser fit. Most of the shorts I found online had a shorter leg length. these are just what i was looking for. They fit just at the middle of my knees. I wanted shorts that didn't ride up when im riding. The material is light weight which allows it to dry quickly. They are cargo style shorts. Love the pockets on the side. They have velcro flap side pockets to keep them close. plus a small zipper pocket for extra storage. The style and fit met my needs so bought a second pair. I'm 5'9 with a 32 inch inseam.

Great mtn bike cycling shorts
Gave these to my husband for bd. He has some similar. Likes the way they fit. Comfortable & has many pockets even one zippered! I would expect the shorts to wear well as his other pair that are similar have been washed/dried many times and are holding up well. Came 1 day early! I would order these again!

Gets the job done!
Overall I think these biking shorts get the job done. Pockets are great and they are really comfortable! My only complaints are that you have to pull them pretty high to align the cushion in the right spot and I wish they were a little tighter. Good value for what they cost!

I Like the material, Can not tell how will hold up as not worn yet on bike. Ordered another pair a size down. I like the finish, stretch and padding thicker than a pair I purchased recently at a local bicycle retailer that were 3 times the cost and do not keep me comfortable on long rides. I have ordered a size down and when I have worn on rides I will update the review. Who knows they may be better than the expensive stuff or at least as good.

The shorts seem well made and fit is to size. The chamois is pretty good, but the liner holding the chamois in, needs stronger lycra. The chamois moves around A LOT and you have to manually move it into position each time you stand up and sit down on the bike. Walking off the bike the chamois sits a couple inches below the crotch resembling a wet nappy. I have bike shorts form a number of brands, including Bib shorts, but none of them move around like this.
