Value for money
I really like these, I’m a fan of Karrimor anyway so this is an easy review. They are comfortable, waterproof and nice and light. They are really well made as you’d expect from this manufacturer. The grip is excellent in the wet, warm enough to use in cooler temperatures if bigger boots aren’t for you

Solid feeling comfortable walking boots
My footwear is all size 10.5 or 11. Chose 11 for these and they fit perfectly. If you're a half size then you might want to round up. Comfortable for me (not all walking boots are). Can't vouch for longevity. Good value at £35. Paid £5 for delivery but rather that than trailing to Sports Direct. Use them for walking the flat countryside tracks of Oxfordshire so don't need better. Good looking in black. Would buy again.

Basically OK for the price
These are relatively lightweight, strongly constructed walking shoes from a well respected brand. They are not too expensive and not too high tech. Once I realised that they were far more comfortable loosely laced at the ankle end of the lacing, I really enjoyed walking in them. Too tightly laced and I found they restricted flexibility in my calf and foot, forcing me to walk in an uncomfortable and inefficient manner - but that might just be me. On the downside, as another reviewer has pointed out, the soles wear quite quickly. I walk on average between 20-25 miles each week and have had these shoes a few months. I calculate that in a another couple of months I will have worn the soles down to a point when I will have to replace the shoes. The soles are also not that cushioning and are made of a compound which appears unable to cope with wet paving slabs as used in some pavements (sidewalks). On such a surface they offer practically no traction and make you feel as if you are walking on sheet ice - I have slid on several occasions. However, on all other surfaces the soles have provided excellent and reassuring traction.

Good quality and wear well
I have had these walking shoes before , very comfortable and wear very well , over 18 moths of use, just worn out sole and heal.

Good fit, good quality
The shoes are true to size. If you are between two sizes, choose the bigger one. They provide a good balance between stability and flexibility. Not too heavy and comfortable right from the start.

Walking shoes
My review. I have just spent 7 hours in these shoes in 40 to 45 mph wind and driving rain and I can’t most honestly say they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and apart from the army boots I had worn in the most wildest of terrains these come right up there, they ARE waterproof and warm shoes, I can highly recommend them and I’m one word I can say FANTASTIC, well worth the wait.
