What a great product! Disinfects everything including medical supplies that go in the body! Absolutely trustworthy! It would be hard to improve on this one!

I bought this unit in July for myself due to all that is going on right now. I just stopped back because I want to possibly get as a gift for someone for Christmas. I am shocked at how few reviews this item has. I love this unit!!! I have a family member that is in a higher risk category so we are trying to be extra careful. This machine gives us some much needed piece of mind. First thing when I get home, my keys, watch, phone, wallet etc goes in the machine and by the time my shower is done everything is sterilized and safe to use. Another plus is I don't have to worry about wiping down my electronics with chemicals that could harm or damage them. You see units that will just fit your phone in costing about $50 and they can only do at most a couple of small items at a time. You can literally empty your pockets out and have room to spare. This is the size of a small toaster oven, but the amount you can fit in it totally justifys having a prominent space in my home at this time. I had looked at the wands, but the time needed to go over the items properly and both sides did not appeal to me. Just toss your stuff in, set the timer, and presto. Everything from your pockets is safe. I have had zero problems with this unit since I got it in July (with using it EVERY day), and they even include an extra bulb, so no worries if you burn one out, you have a spare to use while you are waiting to get a new one. In my opinion, if you have concerns about bringing something home, this helps to put your mind at ease. There is a small ozone sent when you initially remove your items, but it dissipates quickly, and in my book, that just means it is working as intended. You can smell a bit of ozone when using it. It's very easy to change the cycle time by just hitting the button to extend it in 5 minute increments.

It seems to be working great. How long will it last?

The timer feature and duo interior shelf were why I chose this model. Unfortunately the spacing between the wire racks allows smaller objects to fall, and the smaller interior doesn't fit some of my brushes.

This appears to be doing the job. Of course, I personally have no way of independently verifying all those nasty germs are dead. The ozone smell does linger on items for several hours after being taken out of the “light oven”(as I call it). We actually run this outside or in the entryway. One strange thing to mention is that the metal rack is held in place with appears to be small cheap plastic hair clips. I expected more for the price but they are still holding up.
