Well Made. Well Padded, Very Strong, Seems Durable
I was so happy to find this harness for my dog that has a benign growth on the left side of her rib cage. The no-pull training harness she had been using fit directly on top of the growth so I needed to look for one that fit farther back on her side. This harness filled the bill! It was easy to adjust and I was thrilled that it comfortably avoided the growth. It's heavy duty, seems meticulously made and I love the little handle in the rear to assist her when she needs it. I might add that it looked beautiful on her! Unfortunately, when she walked in it there was a little bit of play across her chest along the breast plate. She can be stubborn on our walks, and if she doesn't want to move along, she just won't move and needs to be pulled a little to get her moving. If she's really feeling stubborn, it takes more than a little. I don't mind letting her sniff all she wants, but when crossing a street or trying to make sure she isn't eating something she found, this is a huge issue. When pulling her by the leash clipped on top, by the withers or the handy little handle, it caused a huge gap in the harness in front and the whole harness shifted forward a little, making me fear she'd slip out. So, regretfully I had to return this otherwise fantastic harness. This is by no means a design defect, it's the way my dog is put together. She is very narrow up front across the breast, has a neck appropriately sized for a 65# dog, but a long body, deep chest and long legs. Quite frankly, when looking at her standing, from the front she looks like she will tip over! The harness itself has plenty of room to adjust to fit most dogs, but the narrow breast of mine just didn't work. A smaller size harness may have worked better in the front, but would not have been long enough for her, especially since my concern was to avoid pressure and rubbing on the growth. This dog harness deserves all five stars, so although it didn't work for my dog I still rated it that way.

Overall great product
Great harness. I needed a new harness for my pup who finally out grew his. I wanted to get another komg harness like his sister's but they stopped making the on we wanted, so we gave this one a try after reading reviews. The first shipment they sent me the wrong size ( sent a small even though I had ordered a medium) sent it back right away and got the correct order sent back to em a few days later. My pup has a long torso and its hard to find harnesses that fit him correctly. The adjustments on this harness worked great. Ge seems very comfortable and able to love freely which is a big deal since he has long gazelle legs and runs, plays, and jumps in the pond almost daily. So far its working well and has held up to be washed multiple times already. The handle is also very sturdy. Its also nice to have more than one leash attachment area ( we use one for his tags and tracker to click on as well) overall I was pleasantly surprised by this harness ( once we got the right one sent to us) wpuld buy again.

Durable and stylish to boot!
The medium size was a comfortable fit for my 37lb aussie shepherd and a very stylish design to boot! Amazon initially sent me a large-size by accident, which I had to return. However, the return process was quick, painless and free. In addition, I was sent the correct size in under one week. As for the harness material, it feels incredible sturdy and durable. A leash can be easily hooked to the back of your dog when its wearing the harness. My aussie shepherd was much more manageable on walks with this harness on, as it prevented her from pulling. I find it to be much safer taking her on walks with Embark's harness rather than using a traditional dog collar, which may injure her neck. For $38, I think the quality and longevity of this harness will match the price point. Lovely harness from a great pet company!

Doesn't have a snap/release on the neck like the chest does
The neck size , medium, claimed to fix my dogs neck size but it was too big. I walked the dog but didn't fit right. I just got the smaller size and it fits perfectly. She is 10 neck and 20 chest. I'll be sending this one back, however, this is a good product, pink is a nice shade, sturdy material, looks good.

Perfect for the Pup!
This is quite possibly the most perfect harness for my pup. He is older and I needed a comfy harness. I was surprised he was labeled a small at 23 pounds but the sizing is perfect for his chunky body. It is fabulous and practical. A great value and a beautiful product! I love taking him for walks because he looks so sharp!

Great harness for pullers using the front D ring lead.
Fit my Ozzy well and immediately noticed his pulling tendencies to break. Along with my bungee style leash he has almost stopped pulling entirely when using the front D ring lead 99% improvement and getting better each walk. The harness is of good quality nice clips easy to adjust and fit and appears to be something that will last several years of heavy use.

Company Helped with Broken Harness
**UPDATE AUGUST , 2019** I got in contact with Embark via email. I discussed the failure of the harness and what I thought could be improved. Lo and behold, they sent me an updated version of the harness, with more solid bluckes, and thicker metal D rings. The harness is now held up for well over a year. I have to say I am deeply impressed with how responsive and Embark has been with their customers. I am also happy to say, that the new large harness is definitely sufficient for my Alaskan Malamute. **AUGUST 26TH, 2019** We had a good few months with the harness. However, today it looks like part of the plastic components broke. The part that broke was the plastic adjusters on the right neck strap. I'm going to have to remove a few stars from my review, because this clearly shows that the plastic components on the harness are quite fragile. Keep in mind, I take the harness off my dog when we are done with our walks/runs. **APRIL 26TH, 2019** Shopping around for a harness was a pain, and I was initially unsure of the the Embark Adventure Harness. I hope my review can help you. There were many reviews complaining about the front D ring attachment, so I'll get to that in a bit. Still, I am very happy with the harness now that I have it. The Adventure Harness is well designed- Embark knew what a functional harness should be. The harness is made of very light weight material. It feels lighter than any of the similar-looking harness you can find on Amazon. The material is also quite smooth. Slipping it onto your dog is very easy. There is no struggling to get it over his head. As a result, my dog was much happier to put the Embark Adventure Harness on than his old Good2Go harness. That being said, make sure your dog does not chew on this harness. The fabric is so light, that if they did chew on it, they could probably damage the nylon quite easily. Embark also knew what they were doing when they made the initial color selection for the Adventure Harness. The Adventure Harness comes in black/grey, teal, and orange. The teal and orange harnesses are bright and easy to see at a distance. Orange is an especially important color for when you and your pup hike! The bright colors also help you to see if ticks have latched onto your dog. So, thank you so much Embark for including teal and orange! The next feature is the handle. The handles looks like it is securely sewn into the harness. It isn't very large and it sits quite close to the rest of the harness. Despite this,it is easy to grab onto if you need to help your dog or keep him close to you. This feature is not included on many harnesses (even Ruffwear does not include it)- it was very important when I was choosing one! Thank you Embark! The inside of the chest-plate also features a spot to write down your dog's name and your phone number. While this is a nice feature, the lable is just printed onto the fabric. With use, I can see it wearing off or washing off. Perhaps a sewn-on lable would be a better idea? The buckles for the Embark Adventure Harness are also made over extremely light plastic. To make them even lighter, they have slits in them. I am not too fond of this; I inspect them before every outing. While I understand the slits keep the buckles light and production costs low, they should be made of solid plastic or metal. The buckles are the only part of the harness that feel cheap and make me nervous. I think a metal buckle (of a similar material to the attachment points) would be a better, more secure choice. The back attachment point is made of a relatively light ring. It feels solid and the stitching looks secure. Now, for that infamous front D ring! In many of the reviews from 2018, I see that the front attachment point had a thin D ring attached to it. The front D ring was made of a round piece of metal that was slightly open on the flat side. In this older version of the Adventure Harness, the D ring was only for attaching your dog's ID tags- it was NOT designed for attaching the leash. The nylon webbing was where they expected you to attach the leash. Why? I am not sure, but people assumed the D ring was the front attachment point. This is what caused all those front D ring failures. HOWEVER.... ....The D ring on my harness is different. As you can tell in my over-exposed image, the front attachment point now consists of a solid, thick ring. I can see that there is no opening on the ring at all. As a result, it seems to hold up just fine. The webbing it is attached to is also firmly sewn into the harness. Unlike my dogs previous harness, the webbing does not shift much - this makes the front attachment point very secure. Overall, the decision to make the front attachment point a solid, metal ring was a brilliant one. I can tell that Embark really listens to their customers! Overall, I'm happy with this product and Embark's responsiveness. I will keep this review updated as I continue to use this harness.

Bright color, functionality, but won’t stop pulling
Harness itself is great and fit my dog well, true to sizing chart, no issues with functionality. For those with dogs that don’t pull you will love this harness. For those with dogs like mine that have a little leash reactivity to other dogs and squirrels and such this harness did not prevent any pulling. I ended up purchasing a different harness to address my dogs leash manners. So this harness did not meet the needs for my pup, but if my other dog (that doesn’t pull) needed a new harness I would gladly purchase again from this company. Love the orange color!
