This product works exactly as described. It's sharp enough to exfoliate dead skin and remove any hair in the area, but the way it is designed, the blade is not fully exposed and won't slice you open. That being said, if your hair is in the way it WILL cut it, so be careful. Be gentle, the blade is sharp and I imagine if you push hard rather than scrape at an angle, you might take off too much skin. My face felt a little spicy after using it, but that is to be expected and my skin did not look irritated at all. I liked the cute design and how they can be folded up for later. Easy for taking off unwanted hair on small, sensitive areas.

Using these dermaplaning razors is better than a razor for my face. I’m going through the fun time of peri so I have peach fuzz sometimes and this helps keep my face smooth. There’s a learning curve to using these though. If you push too hard you will cut yourself so be careful. Otherwise they work really well and get to places a regular leg razor won’t. They last several shaves too.

There aren't any instructions provided so I strongly advise watching some free online tutorials or guides on how to use these razors. I brushed downwards at a roughly 45 degree angle to my skin. It was easy and satisfying to see peach fuzz gather and slide off. Make sure you have good lighting and take your time. My skin was not irritated at all after use, which was a pleasant surprise. I even did a couple of passes over awkward areas without any issues. This is a very affordable starter set if you are interested in dermaplaning or discrete removal of peach fuzz.
