I would like the freezer part to be as cold as possible, am I best setting the temperature dial to maximum for this to work?

The fridgefreezer works very well and is very quiet in operation. The freezer temperature is controlled by the controller in the frde section. I have mine set about midway and it is cold enough for making ice cubes in a couple of hours unless.you need it. Colder for a particular feason.

Does the freezer have the bulky built in shelf to or or not? As the photos differ some have it some dont
