Travel buddies.
I was searching for a good art pen that wouldn't bleed all over the place when it goes on an airplane. I had to stop using Microns for this reason. Copic Multiliner SP is my new standard. Feels good in my big skeleton hands, doesn't fall apart on planes. The drawing quality you'd expect from an art pen of this price. I haven't had to change out the tips or ink yet, so I can't speak about that, but I like the fact that I'm able to do that when I need to. I got the Copic grey markers to accompany them and I just love the whole set.

Durable and waterproof
The most common complaints on pens are: smearing, skipping, leaking, and drying out. I have a significant collection of pens (sort of a fetish tbh) and I rarely run into these problems. The Copic Multiliner is a sold performer. I have one that was purchased in 2015 and it writes/draws just as well as the day I bought it.As for potential issues, every product produced by machine has what is known as a "failure rate". Check every pen's reviews on Amazon and all of the best pens still have the potential for failing. I will accept a rate of 1-5%. Everyone should decide that for themselves.

Great pens
These are amazing to draw with. The build is sturdy and attractive. It's great that they offer refills and nib replacements.

good if you're looking for replaceable components
I like the aluminum barrel, it gives the pen a cool feel. The grip is plain with plastic at the tip beyond the body barrel. The pen is sturdy and a little heavier than a plastic pen, but is still quite light. I'd personally like an even heavier pen. The ink holds up well to other markers, and erasing pencil underneath. If you're looking for replaceable tips and ink cartridges this is a good way to go, particularly if you like the Copic brand. It's too expensive to use for practice art. If you're fairly new to these fine tip felt style pens, there are lots of other options that may have better value for you.

Wow
Wish these were cheaper, but even at their normal price, they are FANTASTIC and accurate. I've given up my rapidograph pens for them.

THE BEST pens yet!
These pens are expensive, but more than worthwhile as they are the best ones I’ve used for pen/and watercolour washes.
