I sat and looked at probably every pitcher on here to be used for iced tea. Saw some nice glass ones but really I was not looking for heavy glass to put on a fridge shelf and just seems like an accident waiting to happen if dropped, etc. This is the perfect size. It fits a little over 8 cups of liquid and has the measurements on the side of 1/2 L, 1L, 1.5L, 2 L. So its helpful to fill up liquids to your needs. For iced tea, I followed the instructions on the cold brew bags which is one bag per 1 cup of water so filled a little bit under the 2L mark and used 7 tea bags. It was easy to make directly in the pitcher. Super light weight and easy to lift and easy to pour out of the spout in a glass or even in an empty water bottle that i often re use to refill w/crystal light water, etc. The fact it has a cover w/a closed spout is important b/c no one wants the fridge odors and such transferring to what's in the pitcher. B/c of the square shape, it is easy to fit in the fridge, still looks classy and sleek AND is super easy to clean b/c there are no curves and crannies for water to catch or to have to twist the towel in order to get it to hard to reach areas to dry. its a square = all corners and surfaces super easy to reach and clean. NOT sure about hot liquids but the details say it does in fact hold up well for hot liquids to be poured. I see this as a storage for cold liquids in the fridge so not really sure what types of hot liquids one would really need to put in here so can not review on the hot liquid portion.

Got this to replace a bulkier, glass pitcher that fell to the floor. It's been a few months and this new pitcher seems good. Lid fits securely. Very clear plastic which cleans easily. It's a bit deep and narrow so I do use a bottle brush sometimes. More capacity than I need as I only make soy milk in a 24 ounce or so quantity, and this pitcher holds what I make with room to spare. That tall narrow shape really saves space, which is much appreciated. Old glass pitcher had a nice lid but was very heavy and not too elegant. On those counts, this pitcher is an improvement. Time will tell about durability. [months after I started drafting the review] After months of constant use this pitcher is holding up well. I do hand wash it so cannot attest to dishwasher safeness. I continue to be delighted with the space savings and it is more easy to access being in the door. My prior container was on a shelf and could get buried behind other items in the ice box. Spout works very well with no excess dripping on the pour. The tall, narrow shape is a small washing challenge but even my big hands can get in there. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a pitcher to fit in the door of my fridge that would hold more than the standard 2 quarts. After a lot of searching online, I settled on this one. It’s ok - it fits very well in the door and holds more than my last pitcher, but like other reviews have said, the top leaves a little to be desired. The pouring spout does not close securely. Unless I wanted to use a lot of force, I just leave it partially closed. I also get the feeling that if I was not super careful, the whole top would come off easily. I hold it when I’m pouring, like the directions say to do (that doesn’t inspire confidence). Since I’m the only one who uses it, I can be careful, but it doesn’t seem Ike it would stand up to careless handling. Despite that fact that the directions say it’s dishwasher safe, it sure looks like it might not stand up to that, so I’m sticking with hand washing. So overall, it’s ok but I don’t expect it to last a long time. UPDATE: I've been using this pitcher for two years and I have to say I like it much more than when it first arrived and I wrote the review. The top stays on just fine and it has held up very well with handwashing only. it still looks new. I've gotten used to pushing the top down and it still works well. I would buy this brand again.

Nice pitcher. This is the 2nd one I have bought because I like the first one so much. However, the delivery left a lot to be desired. This was in a paper bag tightly crammed into my mailbox. It was a problem to get it out of the mailbox.

We’ve used this for almost two years to store cold coffee and it’s still as good as new! It fits neatly into the fridge without taking up much space, pours great, and cleans easily in the dishwasher. Recommended!

I have been using the most beautiful GLASS pitcher that was SOOO heavy! This pitcher is very attractive, lightweight and fits perfectly in my fridge. I said goodbye to my heavy one accept on special occasions. UPDATE: SO perfectly. I wanted to post that there are several reviews that complain about the spout no opening very much. It does. I gently pushed it further back and you will hear a little snap. At that point it is fully open. Buying my second one right now. This thing is just perfect!

The pitcher replaced our old sangria pitcher and seems to hold 124 gallons. The rectangular shape has plusses and minuses: + stores well with no wasted space; + pours well without dribbles; - it takes some thought to clean - instead of swirling a cleaning tool in circles, it requires linear motions to get the flat sides and the corners. I ordered one and received two. I returned the 2d one - wish I had kept it now - or ordered a second one, then I could have my choice of white or red at any time. If you could use an acrylic pitcher, I recommend it.

I have had my pitcher for 5 years now and it is still going strong. I use it almost everyday. It doesn't leak and is very easy to clean. We'll worth the price I paid.

Practical,looks good and solid. It takes a good quantity of liquid too.

Listing says 4 inches but is actually 4.3 inches (110mm) at the top and thus wouldn't fit in our refrigerator door. Generally good quality and would keep it excepting for the size discrepancy. Unfortunately it goes back.

Es bonita, llego en buenas condiciones, sin embargo el plástico con el que esta hecha no es apta para alimentos,se recomienda evitarlo siempre que sea posible, pudiera tener algun plástico tóxico en la mezcla. (plástico no. 7)
