We've all had Heinz ketchup all our lives, it's the old faithful, it's the standard we compare any new ketchup to, well for me Sauce Shop blow Heinz out the water. This is what tomato ketchup should taste like, where you actually consciously notice the tomato flavour. If you want a quality product from a small British company and like your tomato sauce to have a real tomato flavour, then this is what you're looking for! Yes it may not be dirt cheap but you get what you pay for, and at the current price of 3 quid a bottle I actually think it's great value personally!

I have buying this for a few years now after discovering it at a local burger chain. It's a really rich, natural and full flavour ketchup. It's hard now to have the usual big brand alternatives as they just taste artificial and watery compared to this. These larger squeezy bottles provide the best value for money.

We love this sauce...it’s amazing. We did the maths (we bought our last bottle costing @£28) and it works out cheaper than buying bottles from the supermarket but it’s higher quality anyway, with no dodgy ingredients. Also love the fact that it’s made here too so doesn’t have to do too many miles. My son eats a LOT of sauce and this bottle lasted over 4 months. WARNING: BUY THIS SAUCE AND YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BUY ALTERNATIVES TO IT AGAIN! Ps I’ve not been paid or bribed to write this review! We just LOVE it and like to promote UK business xxx

We all adore this brand - real taste not just the ketchup but all we have tried - especially the Hot Buffalo and Brown sauce. We have however found a couple of examples (only from Amazon, that have been missing essential lifing criteria. After consultation / photo exchange with the product manufacture (whom stated it should also have a stamped batch number - it did not) we decided to bin it. Probably safe to eat, but did not want to risk finding out to the contrary - manufacturer is investigating the enigma.

I bought this since I realised I hadn't included Tesco Ketchup on my weekly shopping delivery and keen to isolate, I had this delivered (with thanks to the drivers!). It's much different from my usual and it's different from Heinz, as I expected. It's very thick which is welcomed. The taste is smooth and sweet with a hint of spice and only a slight hint of vinegar. I go through Ketchup fast especially in the winter when I tend to eat more 'hearty' meals, so I'm not sure I'd consider this as my regular buy, but a treat perhaps save only for my morning fry-ups. The good thing about the sauce is, even though it's thick, it doesn't stick on the sides of the bottle. It dispenses fluidly. That means there's little going to waste too. Recommended!

Let me just start of by saying I'm not a Ketchup kinda person. Or maybe I'm just not a heinz Ketchup kinda gal but I tend to avoid it all the same... The rest of the fam however are ketchup fiends and have it with everything. Even soup! The heathens. Anyway this ketchup tastes lovely. Nothing like any ketchup I've tasted before. Flavourful and just the right amount of tang. It's pricier than normal supermarket bought ketchup but ya know what?it's totally worth it and I would sell my first born to have it if I didn't have money (OK maybe not as that's frowned upon and I actually do kind of like the kid but the ketchup is yum so buy it)

Hi I hope its okay the bottle was sticky when I took it out of the packaging . The seal had broken and i think the flimsey packaging had put pressure on the sides so it broke the seal . I didn't loodse a lot of sauce but wasn't sure to retun or not. The sauce itself is great but it does need better pacaging

Having tried other sauces I have to say this is the nicest and quite rich in flavour and not runny like other sauces. It’s not a massive bottle and not as cheap as other brands but it’s well worth the extra money. Onto my second bottle now and also want to try the other sauces in the range too
