Great Watch And Makes For A Fantastic Gift!!
I have bought two of these watches over the past two years both as gifts. I bought one for my mom last year and this year I bought one for another family member. These watches have a fantastic presentation to be expected from Citizen. The watch comes in a stylish box with a hinged lid that has nice resistance to keep it closed until ready to open. The watch itself is very detailed and keeps great time. One of the watches I bought was a two tone silver with gold and it really pops when you open the box. I was new to the eco drive technology but seems to work well and there is no visible solar panels etc to take away from the beauty of the face plate. The only drawback is that the eco drive storage capacitor/battery is said to only be good for 15 to 25 years but is replaceable from what research I did on this watch before I made my first purchase. The watch comes with the time set pin pulled so watch is not running in transport. Once you push in the set pin, watch will begin ticking away. Overall these are very affordable watches for the quality you get and they make a fantastic gift. You can't go wrong with a Citizen timepiece.

SUPER HAPPY WITH MY NEW WATCH! ARRIVED JUST AS EXPECTED!
I ordered this Friday and just received it today (Sunday). It was just as expected and packaged well in the official Citizen box with registration/setting booklet. Watch was easy to set with the crown (I had a Fossil watch with the same type of dials) and was in working order as soon as I finished setting it (pushed the knob in). The watch is very feminine and "dressy" in my opinion, but I have no doubt that it will also be sturdy enough to last (and registering online gives you a six year warranty on Eco-drive watches)! It is smaller than my old two-toned Fossil (face and band) but I don't remember what the measurements were for my old watch and have not seen any models that are similar anymore. (It was a Nordstrom sale purchase circa mid-90s!) Yes, the day-date are a bit difficult to read (especially if you are past your early 40's!)...but it is to be expected from a ladies' wrist watch! I would have loved to find this similar watch come in a 32 or 34 mm size, but as such, this was the only option and my favorite look. I almost opted to try the men's version, but it only came with a 40 mm face! Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase! I feel especially good about the Eco-drive feature (I had many, many years of having to take the old Fossil in for battery replacement!) and after many years sans wearing a wrist watch, it feels good to be able to have time, day of the week and date ready with a glance (without having to unlock my cell phone!) I tried to include photos for size perspective because it's hard to tell how big someone's wrist is! It's a bit loose on me but I like it to dangle and will not remove any links. The bezel size is just a tad bigger in diameter than my 9.5 sized index finger ring, and the booklet included is just a tad bigger than a standard post-it pad. Hope that helps!

Beautiful, versatile and understated.
Out of 4 citizen eco drive silver with gold accent women’s watches tested, we found this to be by far the most handsome of the lot. It is classic, subtle and beautiful. Although not numbered, it is easy to read, and we love the day feature, which is uncommon. Some of citizen similar watches have difficult to read dates but this one was more clear to us. The accenting on the case is detailed and looks durable. The watch face has a very subtle reflective circular pattern, reminiscent to a CD or record, which illustrates the quality of detail. I am hopeful that the watch will keep its beauty and functionality for many years. If you are in the market for this style, I highly recommend this watch. There was one more eco drive with an opalescent watch face, that I also liked, but ultimately thought the details on this watch appear slightly higher quality and it is easier to read.

Fantastic Watch!
It says that it's okay to get wet. I didn't really care because I always take my watch off to do dishes, clean, etc. Well...then I washed it. Yep, left it in my pants pocket and it went right through the wash. I was heart sick when I saw it in the washer because I love this watch. No worries! It was just fine. That was 2 months ago and I've not had a single problem! LOVE THIS WATCH! It's beautiful, has date and day, and survives a washing!

Nice watch
Have been on the hunt for a an octagonal two tone watch with either tick marks or roman numerals, and a champaign dial. This is pretty close, and I am happy with the quality. I like the idea of never needing to replace the battery. The bracelet is generously sized; most will need to remove a few links. (You don't need a special tool, just a paper clip and needle nosed pliers: push the pins down in the direction of the arrows against a layer of cloth or tissue. The pins will pop right out.) I took off one star for the goofy half-second tick marks on the face of the watch, though. What earthly use is a half-second tick mark on an analog watch with an indexed second-hand that mechanically CAN'T stop between full seconds? It's just visual clutter, and makes the dial look like it is ringed with stubble. It's a really unfortunate effect since the watch otherwise looks elegant. However, there aren't so many two tone watches with dodecagons (and I failed to find an octagon) around the dial. They look very classy and people comment on the shape. I like the look of the rest of the watch well enough to keep it and am training my eyes to ignore the 120 tick marks around the edge of the dial. Overall, a nice watch.

Excelente reloj, cumple con la función básica y al ser eco-drive no requiere batería por años, sus acabados son excelentes tanto en la caja, como en el brazalete!
