What a well made product. Super reliable, super durable, super sturdy and just a great quality mechanical doorlock.

Initial feel is good seems heavy duty. Screws holding handle together are a joke. Snapped the first screw off in the handle. Spent about 45 minutes getting it out. Everything is just cheap on it. I could grab the handle and break the screws off if I wanted. Just save your money and buy a better one. If you are determined get good hardware. Also the number plate doesn’t cover the existing hole. Only thing I have ever been so frustrated with from Amazon that I threw it in the trash. the combo feature is not very user friendly and again junk hardware as one screw is stripped out. I would Recommend not changing the code. I could go on and on. This is minimal security.

I was impressed with another lock from this company so I purchased this one for my gate. It works like it’s supposed to: installed easily and really heavy and solid.

it does not cover the hole where old door knob was. had to make cover plates to cover 1/4 of hole. would be nice if it had come with cover plates. it does fit in the 2-3/4 setback on a standard door

I was really excited by this product as it claimed it would work great for my outside gate lock. The design and functions were exactly what I needed. Well by the 1 year mark all 4 locks installed had failed in almost the same way. The internal buttons would get stuck and not allow the combo to be entered thus locking you outside. I spent many hours trying to diagnose the issue to no avail. If your looking for an outside combo lock, look elsewhere unless you like being locked out of your house. I have since removed all of them all. I do not recommend this product.

The heavy feel is deceptive. You'd think it would hold up. Broke two days in. Very difficult to change the codes without messing something up. The set screw in the handle gave out on the second day of use as well

Seems nice when you pick it up and feel it but the whole thing works based on a regular latch spring and it can't really move the extra heavy mechanism. Any misalignment and it won't go.

this unit is tall. It will require a additional hole to be drilled thru the door about 3 inches above your existing door knob hole. Some people may not want to drill their door to install this in case they ever decide to go back to a regular door knob you then have a hole to repair. Other styles just use your regular doorknob hole with no other modifications. This manual lock works well, is heavy and seems well built.
