Great snow shoes
After several weeks of rigorous testing in varying snow conditions, in Maine I'm thrilled to share my experience with the "Trailblazer Ascent" snowshoes. These aren't just your average snowshoes; they're a reliable and high-performing tool for anyone looking to explore the winter wonderland. Pros: * Exceptional Traction: The aggressive crampons and traction bars provide unparalleled grip on icy slopes and deep powder. I felt incredibly secure and stable, even on challenging terrain. * Lightweight and Durable Design: The aluminum frame is remarkably lightweight, reducing fatigue during long treks. Yet, it's also incredibly sturdy and has held up perfectly against rocks, branches, and other obstacles. * Easy-to-Use Bindings: The adjustable bindings are intuitive and simple to use, even with bulky winter boots. They securely hold my feet in place without causing discomfort. * Excellent Flotation: The large surface area of the decking provides excellent flotation in deep snow. I was able to stay on top of the snowpack with minimal sinking, even in fresh powder.

Great product - fun to use!
These snow shoes are fantastic! Very sturdy and easy to use. The carrying case is also extremely useful (my wife got a different brand without a carrying case, and now regrets it). I would definitely recommend this brand!

Broken out of the box.
We ordered two pairs, and BOTH had a broken back strap.

Good Value
I really like these shoes. I've only used them a few times but they work really well. Very easy to put on and take off. Time will tell how well they hold up but I've compared them to other shoes in our local sporting goods stores and these are of much better construction.

Nice and light!
Needed a spare pair. They are tough and do the job. Easy on & off.

Nice for the price
Great for snowshoeing through the groomed trails. Love the ratchet strap bindings. My only dislike is I wish the heal strap had a clip strap. The heal strap that’s on them is hard adjusting.

Meh
They’re okay, got me through the weekend but they’re falling apart already.

Have worn these a few times and they seem very good.

Decent set. Probably best value on Amazon of you’re over 250lbs. Work great

My son had no trouble picking up snowshoeing, even though he’d never done it before. I hadn’t been on snowshoes in 16 years, but I got back into it easily. These snowshoes are way easier to walk in than most I’ve used in the past. However, the back strap material isn’t cut out for Canadian winters—it snapped on my second use. I had to MacGyver it back together. Eventually, I’ll replace them with leather straps that are easy to swap out. They made the mistake of riveting the back strap instead of making it replaceable. Everyone knows those back straps wear out quickly, especially if you use the wrong material, which was clearly the case here.
