Nothing special
These are pretty much standard and get the job done.

Great see through reinforcements
I purchased this et of Reinforcement rings to place on swatch cards that I had already written on (I have another brand but they are not translucent) and they work great! They come rolled up in a box and to remove one you simply pull on the paper that you feed though the side and they simply pop off. These are great to use on paper where you need to be able to see what is behind the reinforcement and are very durable and stick without any problems at all. I only use 1 reinforcement lable on the front side of my cards as opposed to one on each side. These are also a decent value for the 1000 labels.

Transparency is a problem
They work well enough, but as some other customers have noticed their transparency makes them hard to find on the roll and to remove. I finally threw these out and bought some white ones which are much easier to work with.

Don't miss the clever label dispenser built in the package!
First of all if you know what a reinforcement label is I'm guessing you might be over 50 just about the time magnifying glasses are needed.I decided to take on the ambitious project of creating a handwritten recipe collection in a blank recipe journal. I felt I should reinforce the page holes sooner rather than later once they are already damaged. When I sat down to the task I realized this was going to be more difficult than expected due to my poor vision even with the two pair of magnifying glasses I was wearing. After half an hour of painstakingly peeling of each clear label from the paper backing I noticed the label dispenser. When you thread the tape through the slot on the side of package the labels literally jump of the tape speeding up the task immensely. How simple and genius is that!Although the clear labels are bit more difficult to position I found if I held the page in my hand I could place them a lot more accurately. What would be more genius is if the manufacturer of the cookbook journal had ordered pages that had a plasticized one inch strip on the hole side of each page so further reinforcement would be unnecessary.

You can barely see these reinforcements
These reinforcement work pretty well. I just put them on my son’s classwork a few days ago and so far they are staying on with no issues. The clear is barely noticeable on the paper which is great except that it made it extremely difficult to line them up with the holes on solid white papers. After a while I was quite frustrated trying to line up the reinformenta properly with the holes. I may have been better off with the white colored ones.My son’s science hand outs had holes bigger than the reinforcements. At first I thought it was the product that was the problem. When I moved onto a different subject which the teacher using a normal sized hole puncher the reinforcements fit perfectly.I attached pictures of both to show how the reinforcements look on both pages.Overall these Avery clear reinforcements do what they are suppose to do. I bought a pack of the white ones yesterday so hopefully they will work as well too.

Challenging to use
I thought it would be best to use clear reenforcement labels for our shop tickets that rip at the string occasionally. These are what you expect and the quality is good. What you don't know is it is very hard to get the ring off the roll because it is clear and just a die stamp cut.Applying the label is difficult because it is clear and hard to see it to align it with the hole. I recommend white.
