EF nib was smooth to write with….on the correct paper.

I ordered this Lamy Al-star with EF nib as it looked like a good, one-off, deal compared with the price of buying the EF nib only and fitting it to one of my current pens. I had never tried the Lamy EF nib before but specifically needed one.Lamy Z 50 nibs like these are known to be good quality nibs and the good thing is that they fit a variety of Lamy pens and are easily exchangeable from one pen to another..Sadly this pen arrived with a F nib and not an EF nib and I already have plenty of F nibs so had to request a return.Even the bar code label on the box had the EF nib designation crossed out and F substituted.A shame as the Al-Star is a really nice pen. It would be great if there was an availability to pick the pen colour and nib of choice. There are plenty of very attractive pen colours and nibs to choose from.

It’s a great pen for its price. It comes with a single cartridge but you can buy a Lamy converter. At first writing felt odd, a bit scratchy. But after writing a few pages it’s really smooth. I got the extra fine, which is a pleasure to write with but bear in mind it’s not fine like the Japanese nib, my pilot fine is finer than the Lamy extra fine!

I have loads of lamy safari and Al-star fountain pens. This looked yellower in the piccie and I was really after a yellow Al-star, however, as it is, it's very definitely more bronze than yellow. Still, if you're into fountain pens - you'll be familiar with these popluar pens, and if not - but want to be - this is a good option to start with.

Benutzen Lamy Füller schon seit Jahren und auch dieser erfüllt die Erwartungen vollkommen!

Tenía años y años vista esta Al-Star con el color bronce (de un bronce con bastante proporción de cobre, pues es cobrizo) que por lo visto lo lanzó Lamy como edición “limitada” en 2019. Pero por unas cosas o por otras no la compraba, normalmente porque la veía demasiado subida de precio.Por 21,90 € esta vez, ha sido buena oportunidad, teniendo en cuenta que el precio normal de una Al-Star en papelería física ronda los 25 € de PVP. Además con punta extrafina (EF), que como ya tengo una Al-Star azul con punta fina (F) me venía bien para complementar.Posiblemente sea la Safari más bonita (sólo es mi opinión y no es rebatible ;P). Al ser la Al-Star, pues lo típico, es una Safari un pelín más gruesa de barril que la de plástico al estar rematada en aluminio, y con la sección de agarre traslúcida y ahumada. El color es muy bonito y cálido, el de un bloque de bronce con alto contenido de cobre en su aleación y sin pulir. Elegante y a la vez alegre. Contrasta muy bien con el clip pulido, la boquilla ahumada, las contadas partes plásticas negro mate, y el plumín de acero inoxidable pulido casi a espejo. Como ha comentado alguien, quizás sería más bonita aún si fuera un poco más saturado u oscuro el color, pero está bien, tampoco es un color claro como sería un dorado champán ni parecido, ni mucho menos.Por supuesto viene con alimentador manchado de tinta azul Lamy, y resto de tinta en el plumín. Esto no es porque haya sido usada y devuelta como alguien comenta, esto es porque al salir de la cadena de montaje, cada pluma o algunas la toma un operario, moja un poco el plumín en tinta y prueba en papel, para controlar la calidad de fabricación, que los plumines se están puliendo y rematando como deben y escriben suave y bien.No tiene mayor problema si se va a usar el cartucho que incluyen (azul Lamy). Si se va a probar o usar la pluma con otro color y tinta sobre todo más claro, verde o de tonos cálidos, es mejor darle un agüita antes a la sección de agarre bajo el grifo y secar bien con papel cocina y al aire para retirar ese resto de tinta.No tiene más misterio.Vino en la cajita de cartón gris claro más básica de Lamy, sellada, pero un poco machacada por el sobre de Amazon o el transporte. Nada más. Una caja algo escasa diría yo para estas plumas metálicas. Pero la pluma estaba intacta.

LAMY malzeme ve işçilik, uç kalitesi tartışılmaz. Ele iyi oturuyor, içinden büyük bir kartuş çıkıyor dileten z28 pompa alabilir. Kağıt üstünde adeta kayıyor ama yine de şaşırdığım bir nokta oldu oa da EF ucun adeta F belki de M kadar kalın yazması. Daha önce LAMY Al-Star M ve F uçlar kullandım ve daha ince olacağını varsayarak EF sipariş ettim ama inanın ki EF nin diğerlerinden bir farkı yok, KALIN!

Ich finde, der Lamy-Füller liegt bei mir einfach nur gut in der Hand. Die Farbe passt wunderbar zu meinem braunen Ledertimer. Und ich kann wählen, ob ich Tintenpatronen oder doch lieber einen Konverter für Tintenfässer benutze.
