JAM Paper Gift Wrap - Kraft Wrapping Paper - 50 Sq Ft Total - Black Kraft Paper - 2 Rolls/Pack

I like to use this with black satin ribbon (http://a.co/cDbdew0) and think it looks wonderful. Terms like wholesome, old world, and rustic come to mind when compared to the more commonly used thin shiny wrap out there. It has a nice texture and is just thick enough to feel sturdy without being stiff or difficult to work with. (When I am giving several gifts, I will often pair it with some wrapped in black paper and tied with cooking twine. The inverted color compliment each other well and keep the same overall feel.) I never want the wrapping to overshadow the gift, and its simplicity actually makes it standout when placed with more festive wrappings. The best part is you can dress up craft paper any way you like. Have kids? Let them draw on it, add stickers, or even smack tiny painted hands on it for a fun, personal touch. There are a million uses for this paper, so there is also a potential for less waste than with other types.

I am wrapping smaller items which is hard with this paper but I love it so much that I think I will be buying it again for Christmas time. Great Product.

I love the aesthetic look this wrapping paper brings to my gifts! It’s nice and sleek, the actual texture of the paper feels nice as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the ease of use. Of course, it is kraft paper so I expected it to be thicker than typical wrapping paper, but it is extremely thick and does not like to fold super easily. The black side of the kraft paper also did not love to stick very well to the tape I had, so either use a little bit more heavy duty tape or opt for double sided and tape on the inside versus outside of your gifts! Lastly, with the amount that is in this roll I was only able to fully wrap three large gifts and barely finished one tiny gift. I will indeed be ordering more, but just keep that in mind if you are figuring out how many rolls you will need to wrap all of your gifts! I would say if you have more than a few large gifts definitely buy two rolls at the very least!

My boss was retiring - his alma mater was NKU. Their colors are black, gold and white. I ordered this paper to wrap his gift and ordered washi tape in gold, black and white to decorate the wrapping. It turned out really pretty - "manly" if you will! Plus my boss loved his gift once he tore through the wrapping - that's the thing about wrapping...it's going to get destroyed!

The matte color was on point with what I wanted as I’m not typically a big fan of the super shiny gold paper. For the price of this item I felt the amount of paper was disappointing. I wrapped one larger gift (a golf bag) and have only a little bit left. In addition it was nearly impossible to tape. I tried 4 different types of tape and ultimately used hot glue and tape to get it to stick. I was not prepared for the amount of effort it would take just to wrap a Christmas gift. Maybe the pros have tips and tricks for all the things gift wrapping, but I’m just your average busy mama!

I love making a little more of a statement with Christmas gift wrapping. Every year, I come up with a theme, and I use if for our gifts under the tree. Typically, wrapping paper you find at target is a bit more loud and always has patterns, as is wrapping paper everywhere else I look. So I turned to Amazon, who had exactly what I needed. This years theme was black, with champagne accents and greenery.This wrapping paper is much sturdier than what you’ll find at typical stores, creases well, and makes clean present wrapping. I’m extremely happy with how my gifts turned out this year thanks to this wrapping paper.

This paper is super thick and good quality but I have two issues. 1.) I cannot get any tape to stick, the paper has this waxy coating which makes it look great but I’ve tried 3 different types of tape and none of it will hold. Since the paper is so thick, if you fold it at all, you need the tape to stick really well so that it holds because it doesn’t crease very well. 2.) There aren’t any grid lines which is nice because the paper is reversible but just make sure you have a good table and ruler or square.Overall, great quality, but very difficult to wrap with. Probably better suited for crafts.

This paper was perfect for my gift wrapping. It was easy to fold and cut. It wasn't real thick which was good for wrapping purposes. I'm not sure how it would work for other projects. The texture is just what I needed.
