Very nice fit for my 25lb sheltie
Great item that helped to cover her shoulder after surgery to prevent her from scratching sutures with her hind leg. It WILL shrink if outnumber dryer but other than keeping that in mind, it’s a good item.

Worked great!!
Bought this for my 80lb labrador to wear after being spayed instead of the cone. This worked great and she didn't mind it on her. I did remove the stitched that was there to make a hole for a male dog so the stitched didn't bother her. It was easy peasy for her to go to the bathroom with it on as well. Definitely would purchase again.

Nice soft material & stretchy
It fits my dog well. The only problem is it keeps sliding towards the back of my dog. The neck area then starts to get tight. I don't know why. Otherwise it is very soft & stretchy !

great fit and design
The fit and design is great. My post spay surgery, 21 pound female Irish Terrier, was totally comfortable in the LARGE size. She was able to move and poop and pee with no issues. All her privates were available for her to groom and use, yet the abdominal surgical site was totally protected. We totally reccommend this item. If anything could be improved it would be a different snap closure up the back, with less, but more durable snaps. This certianly would not deter us from purchasing this item again. Thank you.

Proportions?
Perhaps i ordered the wrong size. The proportions were all wrong. The length was right but the width was massive. My dog would have to weigh 200 lbs or more in order for it to fill out. The material was nice but I returned because it just hung off and was not a good fit at all.

Comfy, but hard to button
I ordered the 3XL and it fit by 75 lb black lab pretty well. It’s not tight around the midsection, but the distance between the font leg holes and the neck was a little short so it pulls the neck down a little bit. The only other, slightly more annoying thing is that the button are really hard to snap together and there are a bunch of them! If it weren’t for that I would have given it a 5 star review because my dog does look comfy in it and it works perfectly to keep her from messing and/or getting her spay incision dirty (she likes to lay in the dirt). Much better than that plastic cone the vet gave us!

Save your dog the misery of a cone of shame!
This is my second time purchasing this surgical suit for my dogs when they are spayed. They seem to be comfy in it and are able to still go potty! Keeps them from licking and chewing their incision.

Super
Malheureusement la surpiqûre pour l'emplacement pour le pipi n'a été prévu que pour les femelles pour les mâles il faut couper plus haut et faire une couture supplémentaire soit même. Dommage à plus de 20 euros.. car la matière est belle.

PLEASE READ
This surgical recovery suit is honestly an amazing product. I purchased the size small for my 6.5 lb female Havanese to wear while recovering from being spayed, and it fit her perfectly! Not too tight or too loose, it was perfect. It also had a good amount of stretch to it, though I didn’t really need to stretch hers too much as it was a great fit. I had her wear the “cone of shame” for the first 48 hours and it was the saddest experience I have witnessed since having her. She wouldn’t do anything, I mean anything other than sit there like a lump with her head down, and during the night she would just constantly whine/cry. When taking her outside to go potty she would sit there and act like she forgot how to walk, and once she finally did walk she would lose her balance and run into things. It was an INSTANT and major improvement when we switched her from the cone to the surgical suit. She was soooo happy and very quickly went back to being her old self again. Since she is a female we didn’t have any issues when it was time for her to relieve herself. I didn’t have to roll the bottom of the suit up and she never got any urine or feces on the suit. The incision area on her belly healed very very nicely as well and she never even bothered to try and lick or bite at it with the suit on. She was also able to clean herself in other areas, which made her very happy. Honestly more veterinarians should recommend this (mine did luckily) and I feel THIS type of product should be the go-to when it comes to healing, especially from being spayed instead of the cone being the #1 recommendation and choice. The cone causes your animal to be very confused, to be stressed and anxious and also depressed. They’re going through enough as it is with recovering from the surgery, so why not let them recovery more comfortably? It is very safe and didn’t cause any harm or issues with the healing process.***BE AWARE*** though that if you have a medium to long hair dog (or cat) to remove the suit daily to check for matting and to brush their coat/fur. This was something that never even came to mind for me for some reason. I was able to check the healing of her incision by peering through and stretching her leg hole so I didn’t need to remove her suit for any reason. After 5 days she kept rubbing her body constantly against the carpet in my living room, on the sofa and on my bed. So I put the cone back on to remove the suit to give her skin some “more air” and allow it to breath better only to find her poor coat was full of mats! I felt horrible!! I bought a de-matting comb and have tried my best to get them out, getting most out, but some I haven’t been able to de-mat successfully. I have her booked to go see her groomer tomorrow and I hope her groomer won’t have to shave her down, especially with the cold weather approaching. I feel there should be a warning on every surgical suit to check your pet daily for matting if they have medium-long hair. I don’t know why but the thought of the suit possibly causing her hair to get mats never came to mind. It makes sense now though when I think about it. So a word of caution, either get your pets hair cut short prior to their surgery, and/or check their fur daily for mats and to give them a good brushing. I had her sanitary area and face trimmed prior to her surgery, but not her body and a part of me wishes I had, or that I at least thought to check and brush her coat daily. That is the only time an Elizabeth collar will come in handy btw, for when you need to remove the suit to check your pet over and to give them a good brushing. Other than the matting (which was due to my own carelessly and thoughtlessness) this suit is definitely the way to go when it comes to your pet’s surgical recovery. I was going to go for a more expensive well known brand, but I decided to give this one a try and I am sure glad I did! It is very easy to put on and remove with all of the buttons going along the back from the neck to the bottom. It felt like it would be very comfortable for my dog, it wasn’t too thick nor was it too thin. The opening for her sanitary area was perfect, with it not being too big or too small of an opening. Since it is mainly cotton the incision area was able to get the air it needed and healed nicely. It’s honestly a really great buy and I am happy with it :) IF I had a male though I would probably opt for a suit that has a roll-up option where it has a clasp/button strap to keep it securely rolled up and out of the way such as the suit by Suitical. I would not cut a hole out as I feel your male pet would be able to get to their incision if they are recovering from being neutered. Rolling it up would be your best option, and to probably buy 2 suits in case they do accidentally urinate on it.
