This product has a very high quality for the price. It finds metal and coins with no problem at all and it shows you what it found. When I dig it up it is what is says it is. How cool is that? I love the multi tool and case it comes with. It takes two 9 volt batteries. You can get them for a good price on Amazon. Have fun and find something cool or maybe even valuable. Now get yourself one of these and get out there and start digging.

We just moved to an old homestead and I thought this would be great for the grandkids to have fun searching for old things. It is very easy to put together. It is light weight. It comes with a shovel and storage bag. It is easy to use and has a nice size LCD display. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it.

I bought this for my tween son. He has used it a few times and it works. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star review is because while assembling it I realized some of the parts are not as sturdy as I would have liked. We have not used it in water yet but he has found many little interesting things (mostly coins) around our neighborhood. I would be fine suggesting this product for a beginner without hesitation.

It takes a bit to understand what you're looking at but just as a test I through a quarter out in the yard and I found it without a problem. I also found the irrigation pipes too so no digging. It's light, easy to put together and comes with a shovel and a holster for it. Also has a carry case for the detector.

Great product

Product works great for my needs. I own a fence company and it has come in quite handy in helping me locate property pins to verify property boundaries.

Detector is unreliable. Bought an item that makes a lot of beeps but cannot even locate iron pipe an inch below the ground.

Love this little and simple. Haven't used much but seems very easy and accurate
