I discovered these coiled baskets storage baskets in the last six months or so. I recently moved into a tiny home and so I needed storage but I didn’t have closet space to hide that storage so these work great because it’s a like a basket I can put stuff in it it can be seen and it’s decorative enough that it doesn’t look as bad as like a Rubbermaid container but what I also like is when I’m not using them when they don’t have clothes or anything else that I’m storing in them I can fold them up and I can fit in a four or five of them into a Rubbermaid sized storage container so they’re very versatile that way that they only need to take up space when you need them to and when you don’t you just smash them down.Recently I have started to use them as kind of a basket liner for so my baskets that have a kind of a rough weave and I’m nervous that they’re going to snag my clothes or leave little basket splinters and in my finer fabrics so yes that then they don’t fit the basket perfect you just kind of put them in there and just like a liner and in the basket also gives them a little more sturdiness of shape so yes I really really like these is a great idea especially if you find the need to have a lot of baskets or storage containers and you want them to also be attractive. recently I have started to use them as kind of a basket liner for so my baskets that have a kind of a rough weave and I’m nervous that they’re going to snag my clothes or leave little basket splinters and in semi finer fabrics so yes that then they don’t fit the basket perfect I just kind of put them in there and just like a liner and in the basket also gives them a little more sturdiness of shape so yes I really really like these is a great idea especially if you find the need to have a lot of baskets or storage containers and you want them to also be attractive

These baskets are substantial, strong, sturdy and well made. They are just as pictured. I have a tall, very full peace lily in the large 12" one which is in a 10" pot. I was able to put a square Rubbermade bowl in the bottom to catch the drainage and slip the pot in easily. The presentation is gorgeous and many have commented on how great it looks and asked about where I found the basket. I haven't used the smaller one yet but I certainly will. I also purchased a larger basket for blanket/pillow storage from this same vendor and it too is the same great quality. If I need further woven cotton baskets, I will return to them because with 3 great ones, I feel that I can trust their quality. One more thing, they are a small family business and I love to support that!!!!

These are very nice, colors are great, quality is very nice, etc. But I’m still trying to get them in the intended round shape from the flat packaging they arrived in, and have a fold bend from. I’ve had multiple items stuffed inside and changed things out to still try and get them “round,” but it’s hard as I don’t have perfectly fitting round things to fit in there. I got them for potted plants to sit in but both my pots are a bit smaller than the gray containers so don’t fill out “the round.” But I’m still working on it, will try my steamer next. I recommend them, but just be prepared for this issue.

we love these - they are a super simple way to dress up plastic plant pots. i simply added a plastic bag around the plastic pot, just in case, and then slid it all into the basket. love the colors and feel it gives. they could be a tad more sturdy, but overall, we're happy with how they look and function and would buy them again.

I bought these baskets because they are super cute and the price was decent for a two pack. I have a plant in the larger one and plan on using the small on for a bit smaller plant. So far they seem fairly sturdy and the look great! They do still have a bit of the fold creases in them from packaging. I rolled up towels and put them in them very tightly for a few days and that helped some. Over all they’re great and I would purchase them again.

I needed a “planter” for a faux-bamboo tree that i wanted to place in our dining room and i wanted the planter to match the boho-chic vibe of my decor. I found this set of baskets and it was perfect. They arrived and are exactly what i wanted - exactly as pictured. The quality seems great, they seem sturdy and durable. The bamboo tree fit perfectly into the larger basket. And the 2nd basket was an added bonus for the price! I ended up using it as a storage spot under our coffee table - i love using baskets around the house to add simple decor that doubles as a place to hid the mess and junk that we have laying around :)

What I like about the set of rope baskets is the color and the simplicity of the design. But...PERFECT FOR PLANTS? This product description stated that these baskets were perfect for plants. I beg to differ on this point. You will need to use a plastic liner or a plant saucer inside these baskets to protect the insides and the surface where you're placing them (e.g., carpeted floor, wood table) I already had a comparable set that I bought late last year (black and white in the same sizes), to compare against these baskets. The first set was definitely usable as planters, since the insides were lined in plastic. But not these rope baskets. Even if you use plant saucers inside these rope baskets, you will risk damaging the baskets by excessive moisture within the baskets' weave, not to mention risking spillover of water on the surfaces beneath. Therefore, take precautions to protect these unlined rope baskets (and any surface where you place them) if you decide to use these baskets as planters. The other issue that I had with these baskets that led to rating one less star was for those nearly impossible creases that were challenging to reduce in both baskets...something that I did not have to deal with with my first set of rope baskets.

Exactly the light breezy style I was looking for BUT I had a couple issues: first, they smelled really bad when first opened, they eventually aired out but was putrid at first; second, they are folded flat and rolled, it took several days and lots of stretching and forming to get them to proper shape. But the pluses is that you get two for an already good price, very cute style and color, and turns out they are washable. I use the small one for a planter and the bigger one to hold dog toys which got pretty soiled and stinky so I took a chance at washing it. It washed up perfectly, no issues. I wish I had known that to begine with because washing them first would have helped with the smell and the creases folded into it in packaging.
