Hi could someone please advise me on how I could use this to clean the 'hard to reach' places in my car. Where would I need to connect the air gun?

The first thing you need is a compressor with a decent air tank, would suggest minimum 100 L. Then depending of distance between your car and where you can store and power the compressor your will need one or more air line to interconnect. I am not sure what you are trying to clean in those hard to reach places, this solution is good to displace dust or dry particles you will then need to hoover.

What is the quality of this gun?

I have found it to be excellent, good positive trigger action, with no leaks. Good build quality, for the price its outstanding.

Will this fit a 1/4" quick release euro fitting thank you

It comes with two different fittings for different standard one of which fits my compressor and various reels I have in France. I have no special knowledge of the various standards in this field, I suggest you buy and test which of the two fittings fits your equipment and if neither fit just return to Amazon. I should add I am very happy with the quality.

Does the connector fit the standard UK size?

It fitted my Lidl small compressor, it also comes with an alternative conn connector which I had never seen before. I also use same connector on a professional unit in France so believe to be a current standard but not necessarily compatible with older units !!!
