Elven Brooch Green Leaf of Lorien, Lord of The Rings - Alloy Brooch with Necklace

I bought this as part of a hobbit costume, and was fairly happy with the quality. Some of the enamel had covered the silver making up the leaf design but being transparent you could see it just fine.It came with chain in place, but I wanted to use it as a broach on a cloak as the Fellowship do. In order to get the chain off I had to bend open one of the O rings, meaning if I wanted to go back and use it as a chain it may be at risk of snapping whilst wearing, and I wouldn't want to lose it!This broach is not sturdy enough to use as a cloak fastener but I clipped it onto a safety pin that I was using to close the cloak and that looked perfect!
