Effective and easy to use
I’ve been very impressed with this at-home IPL hair removal device. The different intensity levels make it simple to adjust based on the area being treated. After a few weeks of consistent use, I started noticing a clear reduction in hair growth and over time the results have continued to improve. It’s not an instant solution, but with patience and regular use, it really works. The device feels solid and high quality and having an at-home option like this is very convenient compared to salon treatments. Overall, it’s an effective and practical solution for long-term hair reduction and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Easy home hair removal without the extra cost or time
I absolutely love this hair removal tool it’s easy it’s safe and it’s effective. It actually works. I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I do not feel any pain associated with it. Very easy to clean and use. I have been using this for over five years and love it.

It works
So far it’s been good. I’d highly recommend reading the instructions first and not just jumping right in. Depending on how my legs turn out, I may do other body parts but I mainly got it for my upper lip and chin. Thanks to pcos - it’s been rough. I always wax but I felt like I was needing to wax more and more. They do provide you with 2 razors but I definitely did not use on my face to avoid any irritation or break outs. I noticed a big difference on my face dare I say immediately? Immediately as in the first couple of days because my hair does grow back extremely fast. I’ve been using it 3 weeks now, only on MWF on level 3. I’ve noticed the hair doesn’t grow as fast nor as dark. I can feel slight stubble where as prior to using this, at 3 weeks after a wax I’m definitely seeing hair growth. As a comparison I’ve also used it on one of my hands. Did I mention I am really hairy? I feel like as of right now it’s slowing rhe growth. But will keep up with it to see how long it takes to stop altogether. I also do my legs. Lower legs for now. Can’t say I’ve noticed much but I will continue and increase the level. I will say it does seem to heat up so if you’re doing your face and other body parts, I’d definitely start with the face. I did legs then my face once and it was a bit intense at level 3. Overall it’s rather painless. But I’ve noticed on my calf’s i can feel it a bit more. Compare the feeling to a quick snap of a rubber band. I like that it has an auto and manual mode. Afterwards I put on lotion - regular as it advises against using anything with alcohol so if you have an intense facial regimen- keep in mind it’s highly advised to keep it simple after a round. Whatever you do, do not go over any tattoos. I forgot I had one on my ankle and it is painful. This is also a no no in the manual. If you are in auto mode and it stops zapping - simply lift it and place it back on the skin and it will carry on. It will not zap if it doesn’t sense that it’s close enough to the skin. Consistency is key and no rushing through. Everyone’s body and hair is different so don’t be deterred if after two weeks you don’t see a big difference. I am going to try the next level next week and see how that goes. Overall I think considering what other options there are for a couple hundred dollars more, this item isn’t too bad for the price.

Updated: MORE HAIR GROWTH
9/8/21 UPDATE: my hair grown is specifically WORSE in the areas where I used this machine. It seemed like I was growing less hair but now I am growing MORE and it is darker!! Unbelievable. Watch where you get your products people. I will never trust a product like this again and will now spend much more on professionals I can actually trust. This has made me more self conscious and it’s more work than before to upkeep. Back to wax for now! —————//////////// I’m in my 30s and have tons of hair. That great for my mane, lashes and full brows- but that also means sis is a bit wild everywhere else too. It’s natural, and I can’t tell my hair where to grow and where not to grow- but I also have some hormonal issues so have the dreaded stache and billy goatitus. 🐐 I’ve worked in the salon industry for years so always kept up with it using wax and tweezing. It’s time consuming and you have to have a grow out period long enough to wax. A time that brought my goddess vibes down a notch. ✨ I looked into this device and read through reviews, but already know that everyone is individual enough that not all reviews can be relevant to me and my issues. I read a few on PCOS and other reviews of people who just have a lot of body hair- and thought to give this a shot. It’s been a couple of weeks, here’s my tentative review: Everything is neatly packaged, everything looks new and clean. 2 wrapped razors, slim profile shades (perfect with wearing my glasses 🤓 at the same time), long power cable and ergonomic laser gun. It’s easy to hold and angle, while also being well designed in that the lights are easy to see from most angles- so you know if you have the green light to start zapping. You long press power button to turn it on then click it accordingly to the desired power level. I started with level 2, then 3, and now 4. I grew out some fur then shaved it 😰, and on cleansed skin pulled the trigger everywhere I needed it. Afterwards I use snail mucin essence, aloe and after massaging it in till sticky, then a snail mucin moisturizer and spf as needed. I worked up to the recommended level 4 and I watch my skin to make sure I’m not damaging it. I cheat and pluck in between cause I can’t stand the dark hairs. I can say with certainty that it has slowed the growth. I’ve been using the IPL every other day (never exfoliating on treatment days). This past Friday I did a session in the morning and then actually plucked out the dark and auburn hairs, it’s now Wednesday and I haven’t felt the need to touch up! This is a first for me. Even with waxing, by day 4-5 I’m usually itching to tweeze any strong willed hairs. The fact that I can wait till this Friday to tweeze again is nothing short of a miracle. Only time will tell if this unit will fulfill its function, but for now I’m happy enough that the hair growth has slowed down. I’ll update this review in a couple of months. I’ll continue to slay anyways. 💃🏻

This thing actually works (was skeptical at first)
Alright let me start of by saying I am hispanic, that means I have super dark, thick hair and let me tell you, it sucks. My underarm hair was what bothered me the most because it was so dark and had to be shaving about every 4 days. I have hairy legs as well and as you can imagine, those have me looking like sasquatch when unshaved, I like a nice clean look but I get tired of shaving. Last thing I want to address if the fact that I dark hair on my face (no, not just on my upper lip), I have it on my chin, I have some that grow thick and long and I have to be plucking them out. My cheeks have dark hair and my sideburns are something that I would like to neaten. Oh almost forgot, I have hair on my hands as well, right after my first knuckles and on my hand.. well I guess I have hairy arms. They are the hairiest on my forearm which was also a big reason for getting this gadget. Hell, im just a hairy woman so my goal was to at least lighten the hair because even though I dont like the hair I know its there for a reason, so lightening it was my goal. Alright so from the start of getting my first package I have to say I was disappointed because they sent me a used machine, it was most certainly not cool because were and are still in covid pandemic mode so it was a let down. I contacted amazon and all that, requested a new one and that was take care of without hiccups. Got my new machine in the wrap and brand new. Looked at the instructions, very simple and easy to follow. After reading the instructions I decided I would start with the lowest setting and see if I could handle the pain. I could, so I kept cranking it up until it hit the fifth setting, I could handle it. The first parts I tried the machine on were my feet, I had hair there too, forgot to mention that. I did my toes and my foot on the middle part and let me tell ya, after the first time I was a believer. My hair was not growing as thick anymore and almost practically disappeared, I used to shave that part like every 2 weeks and now I wont have to. Next part I did were my hands, same thing happened there except those hairs were more resilient and took 2 to 3 sessions to make it were they look like they are gone. I was sooooooo happy. So a few days later I did just a little it of my wrist up and just a tad above that, as you can see in the picture my arm looks bald from where I messed with it because I wanted to compare the part where I had done to the part where I hadn't used the machine, it works. The last place I tried it was my leg, I got curious and shaved only a small patch of my leg close to my ankle (you can see it in the picture in the lower right), you can see that the hair surrounding the area I had done was already growing while the small patch where I had done was stagnant in growth. Again I remind you that I have very dark and thick hair so I cant speak for other hair types. I have to say I am impressed and am super happy I purchased this product because it was a good buy. The cost was great and it works well so I wont have to shave much anymore.

Decent Hair Removal Solution with Mixed Results – Great for Some Areas
I’ve used the XSOUL At-Home IPL Hair Removal device, and my experience has been a mix of pros and cons. The device is simple to use, with a straightforward design and clear instructions, making it beginner-friendly. I appreciate the painless treatment—there’s only a mild warmth during use, which is far more comfortable than waxing or epilating. Effective for Smaller Areas I’ve noticed visible hair reduction on my underarms and face, where the hair is finer, after consistent weekly use. The 999,999 flashes are more than enough to last for years, and I like that it’s cord-powered, so there’s no need to worry about charging. Less Effective on Larger or Coarser Areas However, the results have been inconsistent on my legs and bikini line. Hair growth seems slower, but complete hair removal has been difficult to achieve even with regular sessions. Patience and long-term commitment seem necessary, which might not suit those looking for quicker results. Final Thoughts This product is a good option for people who are patient and want a cost-effective alternative to salon treatments, especially for small areas. If you’re targeting coarse hair or large areas, be prepared for mixed results and a longer treatment timeline. Overall, it’s a decent tool, but it didn’t meet all my expectations.

Was skeptical but actually works!
Okay so first off, I've never tried laser hair removal at all. I've never been willing to pay that much for it, and I've always thought these at home devices would never work, or the ones that might were hundreds of dollars and I didn't want to take the chance of spending that much for it to not work. I have dark brown almost black hair, with slightly tanned skin. My hair is thick and course, and very dark all over my body. Recently I've struggled a lot with hormones and my facial hair has gotten to be very prominent and embarrassing. Specifically on my chin & upper lip area. I normally use an electric razor on my upper lip and pluck the chin area. I got this device and the first night used it on level one, in these entire areas. I was a little scared, but barely felt the zap, at all. It's a very bright light, even with the sunglasses so be prepared. I did the level one for the first two nights before bed. On night 3 I bumped it to level three and used it nightly for the rest of the week. After just one week of using it daily, I already notice a difference. I'm actually really surprised, not only has the hair hardly grown back, but the small hairs on my chin that have, I went to pluck them and they basically just fell out like they weren't even attached to a hair follicle anymore. I haven't went above a level 3 on the device simply because the face is a sensitive area and I don't want to irritate or feel the zap any more than I do on a level 3. It's more than bearable but it does make me flinch a little on the upper lip area because it's a bit warm. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time and bump up to a higher level though since it's only been a week. Overall it's an easy device to use. I prefer to use the manual zaps rather than the automatic mode since I'm doing such a small area. I haven't tried it on anything else yet but may try and do my pits & legs eventually. You can smell a bit of burnt smell here and there but it's nothing major at all. Overall impressed and happy with this device for $65 on sale. 👍🏽 pictures attached of before and after (I haven't removed hair with any other method the whole week except plucking maybe 5 more prominent hairs on my chin)

So glad that I bought this
I was nervous buying this because it seemed a little too good to be true, considering how low the price is for what your are getting and how good the reviews are. I finally caved and ended up buying this product on October 30th, and it was delivered on Nov 1st. The packaging was very nice, it came with everything you need including razors and eye protection glasses. My first thought was that is looked legit. It has a little bit of weight to it, when you turn it on you can hear some kind of whirring noise like something is happening. The next thing I noticed is that it just has one button (the power button) along with the trigger. To turn the device on and off you hold the power button and to turn up the power level you just tap the power button and it goes up a level. Note that the "zaps" are EXTREMELY bright. Even pressed tight to my skin and wearing the eye glasses, I keep my eye clothes during the flash to be on the safe side. The first session I used it seemed to not do anything but I had only used the device at power level 1 because I was nervous it would hurt. The second session I did a few things different: I turned up the power level to 3 and did one pass of zapping over the areas I was treating, as neatly as possible like I was following a grid. Then I turned the power level to 4, did one more pass, and in the areas where my skin is lightest, I went ahead and did the same again at power level 5 (maximum strength). So each spot of hair growth gets 2 or 3 zaps every time I use it and I usually wait 4 to 6 days before I use it again. It really doesn't take very much time to cover a large area because the part of the device that does the zapping has pretty wide coverage. After my second and third sessions, the hair on my upper lip never grew back. It took six sessions to get rid of 99% of my chin/ jaw / neck hair (two stubborn hairs left on my jaw). After four sessions my tummy hair is about 2/3rd of the way gone, my armpit hair has been reduced by about half. I have had this product one month and it has significantly reduced my unwanted hair. For context, I am cisgender latina woman with light, yellow/gold skin tone and my body hair is extremely thick, coarse, black and curly. Please note, anywhere you have more melanin in your skin, the higher levels can also burn your skin instead of just hair- so do not use level 5 where your skin is medium-tone or tan, and do not use level 4 or up where your skin is dark. The device has a little card in it that shows which intensity levels are safe for which skin / hair colors. I have found the best technique is to shave and then wait until I get "5 o'clock" shadow bit of hair growth before zapping. You will literally smell burning hair if you use this technique, but it does not actually hurt and this seems to be the best way to get the fastest results. You'll notice that a few hairs seem to be zapped out immediately, but most of the hairs that you lose will fall out after a day or two. Just try to be consistent and it really, really works. I am excited about eventually not needing to shave but I am much, much more excited by the lack of that post-shave shadow. Especially for my underarms, it is amazing to see the patches where hair no longer grows are actually regular skin color instead of that gray/purple tone that my armpits normally have after shaving. After sessions, your skin will feel warm to the touch, but I have had zero actual burns anywhere on my body. Over the course of an entire session I might have one or two "Ow!" moments where a zap actually hurts, but the pain level is comparable to being snapped by a rubber band and goes away instantly. I use the "Australian Gold Aloe Vera Freeze Gel with Lidocaine" as a cooling gel after if my skin feels particularly warm to the touch after. Please, please learn from my mistake and do NOT put that cooling gel on your face: it gave me the worst acne break-out of my life. At first, I wasn't sure if it was this device or the gel that triggered the break out, but after continuing use of the device without the gel I can confirm that this device does not trigger break outs. Now I just use a gentle face moisturizer after zapping facial hair and save the cooling gel for my body. I have every intention of using this product to permanently remove all of my body hair and, honestly, it probably comes with enough flashes that two people or more could remove all their body hair. This thing is absolutely worth it and more, one of the best purchases I have made on amazon. It permanently removes body hair and there is no downside. If your body hair is darker than your skintone, you should absolutely buy it.
