This seems like a light roast to me. I did not like it traditionally made warm, but it was much better cold brewed with a hint of french vanilla flavored coffee syrup.

It wasn't quite what I expected, but an OK flavor for some occasions

The rum flavor is more subtle than the scent of the beans might suggest. However, it doesn't need to overpower the coffee's own flavor to brew a pleasant cup.

Add a touch of French Vanilla creamer and you could be on Bourbon Street. It is so delicious. This is my go to coffee!!

My uncle loves this coffee!! Got it for him for Christmas he immediately hopped up and brewed a pot! He can't get enough of it I swear

I normally only drink whole bean coffee I grind myself, but I tried this one in the pre-ground variety.Overall, I think this is a solid coffee. The rum flavor is noticeable but not overpowering; if you want a really strong rum flavor you'll have to add a little extra yourself. The roast is also on the lighter side, even though it's advertised as medium, so if you prefer darker roast coffees you probably won't like this one.Price is a little high but not unreasonable for a specialty flavored coffee. Overall, I liked it!

I'm always interested in trying new and unique coffee flavors. I'm a retired rum drinker, but I can still appreciate that smoky, smooth flavor of rum.Roast wise, this I'd put this coffee in the light to medium range. My favorite is light roast coffee so this fits me well. The flavor of rum really hits you when you open the bag. Once brewed I really enjoy the hint of rum, and the coffee itself is very smooth and I don't notice any bitterness at all. I just got back from a cold weather camping trip, and this coffee was a big hit amongst my fellow mountain bikers.Value-wise this is a pretty expensive coffee. That being said, I will keep it in mind for future gifts since about all of my friends and family enjoy both coffee and rum.
