These worked really well. I was concerned if it would fit over my shoe. I take a 14 wide in a mens shoe and these fit on nicely. Not much room to spare but on firmly and stayed on. I feel much safer and sure footed on ice.

I bought these because once again when winter weather hit, I could not find what I did with my Yaktracs. I have always loved the Yaktracs, but the price was so much higher that these by Mattisam. I decided to give these a try. I was right between sizes and went for the bigger ones as it was always a challenge to pull the Yaktracs the full length of my shoes. I don't know if the larger size made the difference, but I am really loving these. They are so much easier to get on and function exactly the same, plus they came with a decent carrying bag, which is really nice and they have the support strap. I have not actually used that yet as I am not having any problems keeping these on, which was a bit of an issue with the Yaktracs. Save your money and get these, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Easy to secure to hiking shoes. Jury is still out on how effective they are at keeping a hiker stable while hiking on ice fields.

What Great Grips on these Traction Cleats to walk on the snowy Ice,I bought a set for my Mom (90) and me, she wants to walk down the drive to pick up the mail , gives her something to do. Here up in the Northren part of Minnesota its been getting too icy with the melting and refreezing, and for me to have trouble walking, I did not want my Mom to fall on her walk.they came in 2 days!!! very excited, I only put one on and took a walk out side, WOW went back in and told my Mom, you got to try these, I put a pair on her boots and the one I did not put on mine so I had both, Were excited!! there so nice My Husband wants a pair too, so going to have to get him a set too!

One if the rubber straps broke second time I wore them. The springs got all twisted and broke. Terrible quality

A lifesaver on my trip to Iceland. All the tours are quite slippery and it was nice feeling confident on my feet. Confusing to get on the first time, then once I figured it out, I was able to pop them on and off when frequently entering and exiting the tour bus. Wore them through 4 waterfalls, a glacier, a crater, walking along a tectonic plate, visiting a geyser, and searching for northern lights.I am a travel agent preparing to plan a group trip to Iceland and will recommend these to all attending. I ordered two pair for my winter hiking trip ! I ended up liking it very much as it’s easy to use and do the job ! Mine was broken after one use so I contacted the vendor who offered the best customer service ! Will buy again for sure

They hold up okay if you are just walking but if you are doing anything past that they will come off. The bright side is they don’t come off completely if you use the Velcro strap. I added a second Velcro strap and they stay on much longer while playing in the snow with my kids. I did not slip on the ice when they stayed on.
