This is not anywhere near the quality of American girl poodle skirt outfit. It was so cute that my 10-year-old daughter loved it and never questioned quality. Quality was great, but definitely looks like nice felt homemade version. I only share that because my husband said we could make it- but said the price was worth not having to. If you want something fun and easy- this is for you! It was elastic waist and she loved it! Picture true to color. It is not light baby pink and not hot pink- just a solid baby pink-'strong color. Father- daughter dance- she also bought another outfit online for her American doll- matched perfectly. Scarf cute- small side for 10 year old, but worked- could be used for hair tie. My daughter plant based, so on thinner side for her age.

My daughter and I really liked this skirt. It fit my 4 year old very well and she also thought the scarf was great. The skirt is well made, but the scarf is kind of cheap (it's still cute). I was planning on making her a skirt, but saw this one and I couldn't pass it up because of the great price. She uses it to play "dress up" and it has held up very well.

Heavy felt, not flimsy, but cannot be cleaned. Waist band stretches easily and accommodates my size 10-12 daughter. It’s very cute and not too expensive for the 50s day at school.

This skirt is perfect for my daughter's upcoming dance recital. It's made of good quality and the stretchy waist will allow her to wear for a while. She was in love with it as soon as we opened it! She put it on right away and it was a good fit. She is 9 years old, very tall for her age. I was worried about the length but it looked adorable on her.

I have to give this skirt a mixed review: The good: The skirt is very full and due to the stiffness of the felt looks "poofy" without a crinoline. The poodle applique is very nice, not cheap looking and with a little loft to the poodle"s "fur". The bad: The measurements listed are inaccurate. The skirt I received measured at longest 18", including the narrow waistband. Also, at it's absolute most stretched the waistband is maybe 32". I was certain it would be too short for my daughter when I got it but she tried it on and wore it more on her hips and it hit right below her knees. If you are trying to decide if the skirt will fit your daughter, for reference, my daughter is 10 yrs old, 4'8" tall and 78 lbs. Bottom line: The skirt looks nice and will serve well for my daughter's Sock Hop at school. If the one-size fit makes you nervous, it maybe should. My daughter is happy with it and since that means I don't have to sew one, so am I. Just be warned that there may be some variations in measurements.

Bought this for my 4 year old grand daughters pre-k 50's day. She was so darn cute! Bought size 5 the skirt has elastic waist that will stretch to fit her for a few more years. The length came to her ankles. Very much worth the price well made. Do not hesitate to buy. I also bought the poodle shirt, socks, scarve and glasses to complete the look.

This poodle skirt is adorable. The elastic waistband isn’t cheap feeling so I’m not worried about it stretching out over time. We purchased this years ago and it’s still being used monthly in our dress up bin. It’s adorable and you or your child will want to twist the night away when you put it on!
