Terrace Storage Shelf 3-Tier Wide in Espresso, 37-Inch

I needed a longer bookcase to accommodate a new, larger TV in my bedroom and this one ended up being just right! It’s very sturdy, roomy, the perfect height for TV-watching, and looks great! I gave it 5 stars for ease of assembly, but I must admit I didn’t install it. I’m the world’s most incompetent handy-person (my talents lie elsewhere), so I asked a friend to put it together for me. I watched — and he obviously had no problem following the simple sheet of instructions and assembled the bookcase quickly. The price was really good, especially for the quality of this attractive new piece of furniture in my bedroom.

This is a very flimsy constructed item that fell apart as we tried to put it together. the holes on one side of the middle shelf were too big, and the screws would not lock into place no matter what we did. This made it very difficult to stabilize the rest of the unit to put together the other pieces. (this was a fool's errand in itself, but we decided to give it a try.) We were able to do so for long enough to try to put the back panels on.This is where the cheapness of this unit really becomes an issue - sliding them in and getting them to line up is difficult, because they are very thin and a bit bendy. There are holes in the boards that are meant to line up with the shelves, but there were holes missing, and even those that were there did not actually hold the screw; the panels continued to bow and pop out.I am genuinely surprised at how many good reviews there are on this item... I have put together a great deal of inexpensive furniture in my time, and this is one of the worst I have ever encountered.

I bought this to serve as an organizational tool for my family. I needed something to hold things that I found randomly around the house. With this unit there is room for everyone to have their own basket. The baskets are light enough with two handles for my kids to carry their own things to their rooms each night. The baskets are made of cornhusk, so they aren't the sturdiest material but they are of a size that would be easy to replace later on if necessary. The unit itself is very easy to put together and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, considering it came in pieces. The back panels are a thin plywood rather than the cardboard you typically find on build it yourself furniture. Overall the piece looks classy and fits in nicely with a contemporary or traditional decor. I do recommend.

This unit arrived early by about a week which was surprising and awesome. The directions weren't very hard to follow, I had it built in about 30 minutes by myself. I really like the look of this unit however, after building it myself it is oblivious that it is not very sturdy. I am using it as a dresser with basket drawers and it looks fantastic, but I am a little afraid to move it. I wouldn't suggest putting anything very heavy on it or moving it around a lot. It works well for what I need and my bf likes it as well. I'm glad I bought it but in the future I will look for something a little more sturdy. I think for the price, one cannot expect superior quality.

This Shelf is so pretty. It was inexpensive and was super easy to put together.My mother-in-law complimented me on it. I got some bookends for Christmas and put books on the top shelf and on the top of the bookcase.The baskets aren't huge, but I still managed to get a lot of painting supplies in them. The cleverly hide the hodge-podge of stuff I have without being so hidden that I forget what is in them.The only drawback was that it ships in two very different boxes: one for the cabinet and one of the baskets. I ended up not getting my shelf the first time. It was around Christmas and either UPS lost it or someone stole it from my porch. I returned the box of the baskets I did get and asked for a replacement. The replacement came in great order and had no problems after that. Amazon is great like that. :)

I needed this type of cabinet and it had to be certain dimensions to fit in the space I wanted it for. This would have been perfect except for 1) one of the 3 back panels was missing (I have sent in the paperwork to have it replaced, will see if it actually comes) 2) either the connecting screws were too short or the hole drilled was too deep because the cap locks wouldn't work unless the screws were undone about 5 turns but that caused a gap at all the corners.So it was not sturdy at all until...........Once we got it put together as well as we could my husband placed 12 long wood screws all around it. 4 each on top, left side, right side at the shelf levels. And now it is sturdy and I like it. Like I said I needed it to be a certain size and I had looked around and couldn't find anything else and decided I didn't care how many screws we had to put in it I just needed it to be sturdy.
