HERCULES Series Ladder Back Walnut Wood Restaurant Chair - Black Vinyl Seat

I ordered two of these chairs at the end of April. Each one arrived in its own separate, sturdy box. I was so pleased that the only assembly required was to attach the seat with for screws. The seats were in plastic and I think they were not attached because buyers had several color options for the attached cushions. The seat cushions are a nice thickness and very comfortable. Perfect height for eating/writing/etc at the table. I noticed in the description if you order a chair without a cushion, the sitting height would be a bit lower. There is some reflection on the seat cushions in the photo - not a product defect!

This is a very well made chair. It's very sturdy and the only assembly is putting the seat on.

I was afraid I’d ordered the wrong chairs. These are perfect. Well packaged. Easy to assemble.and they look great in my dining room.

Chair parts seemed well made and sturdy but no instructions were provided. There were four screws to attach the seat to the frame but no pre-drilled starter holes. Since I don't have a drill the parts are uselessly taking up space.

The chairs are exactly what I wanted. They are well made, sturdy and good value for the money. However, I did not receive all of the chairs. I ordered 8 chairs. I received 6. I received 3 boxes, each with 2 chairs. I immediately contacted Amazon about the matter. Amazon member stated there was nothing that could be done because their records indicated that the order was delivered directly to the customer. I was then told I could return the chairs for a refund. I only had 6 chairs. If I returned them, I would get credit for only 6 chairs. Additionally, I didn't have boxes large enough to return chairs. I contacted the manufacturer directly and I was told two chairs would be shipped immediately. 2 Months later, I have note received the two chairs. However, Amazon records now indicate that I returned one chair and credited by card for one chair. I didn't physically return anything. It appears the box with the remaining 2 chairs made its way back to the Amazon or manufacturer's warehouse.. However, I only received credit for 1 chair. So, I now have only 6 chairs and credit for 1. I am still being charged for a chair I never received and both Amazon and the Manufacture have failed to correct this matter.

These chairs are very nice, high quality, and very sturdy. I checked the dimensions before buying, and thought they would be okay. But no, they are a bit small for me and my family. We are all 5'8" and above, big and tall types, and the chairs are too small for us. The seats are very comfortable to sit on, seat cushions are well padded, but the chairs are not comfortable as far as feeling supported. It feels like I'm sitting on a thin ledge because of the small chair size. I would definitely recommend these for the average size person, but not for larger people like myself.

I ordered the sturdy iron frame which looks just as great as the wooden one but since I also like to use my chair as a ladder because I can hold onto the backrest, the very sturdyness of the iron frame gives me a sense of security that a wobbly ladder does not.And once returned to it's proper nook at the dining table it looks quite innocent indeed.

When I found myself working from home I wanted to set up a comfortable, efficient, and nice looking home office. This chair fits perfectly under my little desk and is extremely comfortable to sit on! It is high enough that I can work comfortably at my desk and it looks real nice with my home decor. The only assembly required was to attach the seat.
