I didn't expect it to be this good. Just connect a max voltage of 12V and you'll be good. Those saying it's too thin! It works on lower voltage just because it is thin. With reduced radius, resistance goes up. And you need higher resistance for it to work at a lower voltage. Good job.

I GOT HARDLY 3METERS OF WIRE. AND THE WIRE DOESN'T GET HOT WHEN CONNECTED. I FIRST TRIED WITH 9V BATTERY(IT DIDN'T GOT HOT). THEN THOUGHT IF MORE POWER NEEDED AND KEPT ON INCREASING VOLTAGE AND CURRENT. AT LAST TRIED WITH DIRECTLY WALL POWER(240V). STILL THEN DIDN'T GOT HOT. SO, DON'T PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT AT ALL. WARN YOU!!

The product image is incorrect. the wire is very thin. Cuts thermocol easily. (I am using 12v 3 amp power adapter)

Quality was good

This product is too thin for any heating purposes but would work well for foam cutting. Only a 9v battery is required to make the wire glow red hot.

Super thin and super resistencive. Red hot in 2 cm with 6 volt.

Very thin wire, not for lab use in micro department.
