Black Talon Divot Tool

This is a nicely built tool that works well. The finish holds up, it repairs divots easily, and can hold up club handles near the green to keep them off wet grass. Both the hat clip and tool can accommodate other ball markers (see pics). The included marker and other markers slide around a bit on the hat clip, but they don't fall off. I haven't lost a ball marker using these for a number of rounds.

I received my divot tool today and was very impressed with the quality. I looked at what I paid for this, and it's a great value. The tines on this tool never bend, so I consider them the best of what's available. One problem I've had with more expensive divot tools is that the metal seems to soften over time and the tines bend and jam the tool. I was constantly bending the tines. Additionally, I don't know why someone doesn't make the tines out of Liquidmetal which is stronger, returns to shape immediately, is more corrosion resistant and much lighter than most metals. This stuff is stronger than titanium. I don't know whether the price could be similar, but my understanding is that it's becoming cheaper than stainless. It would be worth someone in a divot tool business to look and highlight that their tool is made from this revolutionary metal. Amorphous alloy or Bulk metallic glass is another name.

I’ve had a few of these switchblade type tools. This is by far the best quality one. Recommend. Update: the pivot screw on my tool came loose. I thought that it was lost until I found it in the laundry. I used loctite to hopefully prevent the issue from recurring. I suggest checking this occasionally. Still feel that this is a great tool. I have probably used it close to a thousand times now.

LOVE the design. The only thing that would make it better is a bottle opener somehow built in. BUT...my only gripe (and reason for the 4-star review) is that I ordered the yellow one first and I returned it because it was actually gold, but it was a very solid product so I just reordered in silver. I received the silver one and noticed that the magnetic ball marker was a lot more loose compared to the gold one I had received days earlier. I noticed that the magnet on the tool was slightly recessed into the tool which lessened the magnets effect. Sure enough, I lost the ball marker during the first round I played. It must have slid off while either picking up the tool after using it as a club holder or slid off into my pocket and fell out later on. Either way, I ordered another one and will see if this one is better magnetized, like the golf tool I originally ordered.

Good price and timely delivery. Met expectations. I can say this is a SOLID divet tool. Best one in my big collection. Reliable, durable and useful tool. Great buy.

Not too many companies like this around. I purchased this to replace a plastic divot repair tool which is an upgrade in itself. I like that the divot tool is foldable akin to a folding knife. It feels great in the pockets out on the course and when its time to use, the prongs are sturdy. I did inadvertently lose the coin marker that comes with the tool. I reached out to the seller and they sent me two free of charge. Taking care of customers is extremely important. I definitely recommend this divot tools highly and will purchase other products this company produces.

I have used this tool over the last few weeks and love it. Fun item to share with friends! I purchased one for my father, golfing buddy, and myself and we have all throughly enjoyed them. While I haven’t used it much (simply due to my poor golfing ability) I have had the chance to repair a few divots and highly recommended their as a fun addition to your bag or a simple gift to a friend.

The Visualize Talon Plus is a great product. I noticed the quality right away upon opening the package. It has a nice weight and the action is smooth and deliberate. I chose this product because of the array of color options and attractive logo. The small details are impressive too including the offset magnet that allows for easy removal of the ball marker while holding it in place when in my pocket. I am proud to carry it with me and look forward to trying other products made by Visualize.
